  1. Sure my friend, no worries, I meant the whole community of users... As Andrew said, this is something huge and people seem to not give the deserved attention to it, puzzles me : ) Looks like people are boring because there's a workaround now : D
  2. Strange silence 24 hours later WTH... Is it so difficult a R5 user to download the bloody hell of the firmware update and give it a fuckin' chance...??!
  3. One of his most recent exhibitions in National Museum, Leskovac (Serbia):
  4. Done. Please share it: http://chng.it/JZ8BqNcPYR Danilo is one of the most talented creatures I've ever met in Naples outskirts... He simply does every single creative job since a mere pen to his multiple multi-layer boards, as for instance this sample here: E :- )
  5. I'd buy the new GoPro then.
  6. Any idea if properly covers full frame for 16:9 video use? If so, what from focal length? What about if for 2.35:1 (aka 2.39:1) crop?
  7. I understand. I posted here because of that comparison with S1H IBIS which is clearly superior and once I was still looking for information on topic (EF lenses on this new mount they launched and I have zero glass to couple to their IBIS), followed the previous comparison.
  8. Sure, if you ask, I obviously will : ) I am in the market for that, you know... : D Wondering about the leftover to add there. This RF mount is completely new and expensive like hell as usual, they charge 2 grand for their new toys... The good news is the good oldie EF ones do the job : )) I've been in touch with other mates through PM, I thought this may serve some other people outside our inner circle :- )
  9. That would be great if they would properly address it... but a professional tool is the one which actually works. This business life in this industry is full of workarounds, go figure... ; ) Budget issues are much more crucial than anything else, if this saves you money you could spend in something much more expensive on their high-end, you'll professionally praise the whole thing :- )
  10. Interesting & uncertain conclusion from a S1H & R5 owner:
  11. I guess Leica is not for sale :- )
  12. We can start the discussion from possible many angles indeed... let alone the customary DOF or use of slower glass and strictly going from a low light perspective?
  13. Indeed, this is really impressive: Here's another comparison as food for thought:
  14. These cameras are the most affordable filmmaking deal ever... AF related included ;- ) Can anyone be outside of this offer even today? - E. (Pocket cameras lover and Canon shooter as well, owner of 11 Panny still kickin' today)
  15. I hope everything will end okay, I still have my money with them.
  16. This is a hell of a tool! Or a heaven as wish ; ) Sorry to always come here and say the same thing but this is completely underrated because this add-on puts the Pocket camera series (the best cinema capture devices ever! : ) at a whole different level (E :- )
  17. The digital world is a giant step in the history of the humankind and this story is the finest proof of it. It's a collective effort to prove we consumers together are stronger than corporations when there is a cooperative process as basis. Reason why we must invariably focus on a common goal rather than mere trivia. We can only risk to succeed when then. Ethics apply, of course, but remember they also vary accordingly the angle from. Hence we have to know very well where we are and what position we stand. - E.
  18. Hope the positive side will play a trump over, I mean this one here haha ; ) This is not a Canon camera series anymore ; ) but the credits are half part of this community, you included : ) I will never forget it when I'll be using my R5 to come. I want to believe the same for every user who will end to read this workaround in these pages as well. Long life to free press ! E :- )
  19. This is your contribution too, Andrew. Without independent voices and will to overcome it, they would only have whatever they want to offer us. So I guess everyone here (with a special place in this industry) has deservedly earned kudos for it :- )
  20. The most tasteful achievements are often harder to get and the most laborious to make a special course of its/their own ; ) At least, they give you a chance to be helpful to your community in a different tone the good boys seem not prone to let it happen ;- ) EOSHD forum/blog are part now of this (unique and) outstanding process if we get a way to arrive well in the end, we all hope : ) Well, I love mods though, part of the business. This is our add-on, if not what we're doing as players of the craft there? : P This industry is made of solutions found by men and women, not only bills paid to buy gear. I don't mind when there's a happy end to such plot, offers a value added to a different level of expertise like yours or Magic Lantern guys or some others to give sense of what a community of users means, I praise the fact anyways. This is a democratic new form to live filmmaking and technology in general. Glad to be alive and kicking these days! :- ]
  21. Seems solved, then? With the last updated firmware version? Won't they cut it with a next update? If so, this is TRULY remarkable and I think it's fair this camera may happen to be connected for good reasons with this web corner in a positive manner now : ) Made history, pretty revolutionary device... :- )
