  2. Objectivity is invariably a weapon and a good one of ours to base credible grounds about. Keep going your hard work to let it up and flow... Truth comes to the surface, no matter what or where they want to go with their BS. More than lies, they're damaging their reputation with crippling policies against who put the food on their table. Canon professional clientele can't be happy. They designed that thing on that purpose. To overheat.
  3. Sigma needs to offer slowmo @ higher res & Panny decent/competitive AF, now... unless a certain Irish mod(s) supplier ; ) may give us a new birth to the P6K/P4K series... ;- )
  4. They've just "fixed" the deal breaker for my non-existent purchase until they or anyone will overcome the issue, this is a mere toy : ) A joke, a bad joke (but by misfortune, not mine ;- ) They put us to hate the brand, so it is such an achievement... : X
  5. This freezer workaround is hilarious. Mind-boggling.
  6. You see @BTM_Pix@Andrew Reid how can we expect anything from Canon...? We need some mod from a third party if possible... :- )
  7. This is disgusting. These guys are crazy. And unprofessional.
  8. Without pressure on their courtyard nothing will happen.
  9. That's my hope but they would deserve to have anyone to earn money directly from their backyard. Maybe next time they would think twice before to underestimate their own clientele. Without mention they would probably act faster if so. Some pressure on them and other contenders to take a piece of their cake is not useless at all. Everyone would take advantage, except them.
  10. We should find anyone able to supply us a mod to overcome the issue instead :- )
  11. Maybe will any tech company offer some mod to surpass overheating? That would be a good kick in the ass of Canon if/when someone else would earn substantial gross amount of money in front of their greed. Is it so hard to supply it @BTM_Pix hey our engineer? : ) Canon's R5 product manager should also send a good thanks card to, I guess.
  12. The impact stands for many years to come, not only for a couple of business years.
  13. Shame on you Canon! I still hope they will come to try fixing this embarrassing mess. Brand value is definitely higher than the sale of a few C line units.
  14. Nothing new to see here. Pure story already told and seen. They all tend to do it or the majority at least. So, we need a new order telling them they will end not nice in the picture in this age of digital revolution and internet... That's it. I still hope for popular demand they will be back. They did it with 5DII, even though there was no C line yet and that was actually the beginning of theirs.
  15. Do we need anything new to already know it? ; ) It's embarrassing to say the least... 1992. A further VP of Sony Europe told me to count on it along my career because these practices are part of this industry. 2020. A couple of new novelties today though: digital revolution and internet.
  16. Andrew's point is still valid though : ) Thanks you two @Andrew Reid @BTM_Pix for your guts and service to filmmaking, keep going your focus and hard work :- )
  17. I sincerely think this is a good service to the filmmaking community, the more noise the better for that sake... ;- )
  18. On their C series line they don't abandon as a mistress a few people would care about. How can we be so sure of it? When? Still in 2020? Early 2021 much more like?
  19. https://www.eoshd.com/news/chinese-user-modifies-canon-eos-r5-to-improve-heat-management-but-finds-artificial-firmware-time-limit/#more-23880 Great article, man, I told you : ) these guys do anything for more money, they crippled the whole thing, what a perfect shame...
  20. Keeping the cost down is OK as well manual focus for certain shooting style not for all... But how this can rise it up when ANY smartphone manufacturer offers that from ages now?
  21. Now Blackmagic has no excuse... ;- )
  22. Wise words. 500 bucks in a stupid flyaway once a decade ago because it was a reputable/legit seller (with high ebay feedback), I thought so. Beware.
