  1. Just arrived from shooting. Improved and faster AF (tap to focus) in low light situations : -)
  2. Done. Just tested and right in time for a shooting scheduled for tonight. Thanks. A few AF tests performed with a cheap Lumix 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 in low light (6:45PM in Western Europe right now) EXT-INT (street buildings from town landscape to a monitor LCD inside the office only a few feet over there). Fast as a shark and damned accurate in any of my early tests. Much impressed and really improved. Looks like a different camera unit... 75 -> 25 fps adds something there as well. My fav modes from now on. Anamorphic modes, oh well, no need for additional comments. Any of this for the 6K model as well? Absolutely... perfect update : P Kudos to you BMD, you're definitely the camera manufacturer number one in 2019 -- who shoots with a Blackmagic won't want to look back ever again... what a tool! And a joy to play with : ) Simply anyone can operate with one. Easier than any of the usual suspects with those nonsense labyrinth menus totally unfriendly to the sake of the art. This is the way! Elitism is over on filmmaking nowadays, thanks to these Aussies! : -) https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/ https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=101259
  3. Impossible to omit the 2nd season with that unforgettable Maya from the planet Psychon! : -) http://catacombs.space1999.net/main/cguide/uccm.html Who else here her fan?
  4. ...from your childhood, teens, well, that stuff, you know ; -) As you see, the better IQ the more future proof the content is ; -) Yours from your chest of memories?
  5. 6. The proof is in the pudding ; -) 7T is impressively, I'd say, improved...? Here's another comparison of both 7T and 7 Pro with the original 7 version now: https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idCamera1=300600&idCamera2=300622&idCamera3=300600 7 7T 7 Pro
  7. It's not only 8MP resolution and telephoto lens related. Take a look on this comparative sample coming from the 25.7-25.75mm (35mm equivalent terms) lens, even though not over the new 7T Pro version still to be provided by the usual gsmarena tool once not yet available there (iPhone 11 Pro Max 12MP sensor is introduced among them only as 3rd comparison term): https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idPhone1=9846&idCamera2=300622&idCamera3=300600 Same Sony IMX586 48MP sensor. 7T 7 Pro
  8. The problem with our contemporary societies is the fact we become too spoiled people like misbehaving kids waiting for Santa no matter what. Acting fulfilled of vicious whims. I wonder how people who lived the WWI or WWII or yet any of the recent conflicts in the Middle East as for instance might see this Western nonsense. I am ashamed to say the least.
  9. No idea, including if viable going along any extra app... However, it is possible to download 7T Pro samples (source: Android Authority) from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s4IVkkQmNtR6Jcgs_zBAG4EBdkFDup_t Maybe is there any clue from those samples? Didn't check, actually. Here's a new comparison with the new entry from Google vs OnePlus stock camera (not gcam):
  10. https://www.androidauthority.com/realme-x2-pro-review-1040898/ Which seems to be to pass on this one... OnePlus 7T and waiting for 108MP by Xiaomi on budget line still in 2019, until OnePlus will release their next generation the following year, my fair guesstimate : -)
  11. Here is the new OnePlus T series contender, both Pro and budget versions on 64MP Samsung GW1 side to offer 4K60p -- now updated info, just launched a couple of days ago: https://www.gsmarena.com/realme_x2_pro_hands_on-review-2004.php https://www.realme.com/eu/realme-x2-pro/specs "Video Bokeh Effect"? If as similar as most recent Samsung's, don't hold much hope and your breath... LOL : ) Although Realme as much as Xiaomi's CC 9 series are known by their excellence to handle moving image or satisfy phone camera lovers : -)
  12. My favorite dude for the matter: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCghFg2WDkSS4FvVu6UVQ0dQ/videos
  13. You're fully right : ) This is a general problem comprehending the whole tiny sensor universe going with ultra high resolution. Blur @post is panacea. Take a look on this sample, download the 4K version and put it soften along PotPlayer, is day or night: Just posted this one: BTW I'd really like your entry on this thread as far as Michigan and Detroit locations concern. Can you? Thank you : -)
  14. Still on 64MP sensors... Pity Realme didn't launch a global version with worldwide bands...
  15. Speaking of OnePlus offer and telephoto purposes... ...and most valuable phone camera add-on (I beg your CC forgiveness to this man of God because he surely doesn't understand what he's grading! LOL : )
  16. No idea how this is attached to the phone though:
  17. Of course, there is useful internet these days, who said the opposite? Internet is not the topic, neither the worthy tool internet is, so surely not the good content available online we can't live without it anymore : ) Only some nonsensical way also powered by some empty world of nowadays. Unfortunately, widely used, so we'll also be able to find it as exemplified. Let alone the dark web, not in discussion either. I think the member Cinegain mentioned that channel, among some other links, as some kind of trivial subjects to reach millions and give billions of views to channels like that one on YT. Not exactly masterpieces to hold our breath : -)
  18. Hope this helps in three different latin/romance languages for non-native English members here:
  19. Lossless zoom not optical ends in an advantage for the 7T version with 12MP, especially going along some extra accessory such as this one when available for Androids, only on iPhones side so far: Or this one, they announce as fitting Android smartphones like the OnePlus devices, even though I guess only dual lens based:
  20. What 64MP? ; ) I've found the budget Redmi's 48MP offer pretty impressive coupled to Camera 2 API indeed. I guess their 108MP won't be less than the customary flagships to be sincere. Despite the utmost processing power of the tiptop chips available as usual happens. I don't find 64MP any of uninteresting, on the contrary especially when pixel peeped for checking resolution as due. Sharpness is not the better at any rate, above all when motion (or composition) is our target as we know. Other than that, you won't really notice nor need it, I'm afraid. Here's a curious comparison... 48MP still photo crop low light samples on: OnePlus 7T Redmi Note 7 64MP still photo crop low light samples on: Redmi Note 8 Pro Realme XT source: https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idPhone1=9816&idCamera2=300572&idCamera3=300624 https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idCamera1=300572&idCamera2=300624&idCamera3=300619
