This doesn't mean others can't be followed and have a different result, though. As of today, good news for RED and to those who have invested big money and praise theirs. Not for many by all means : ) Diversity will always prevail anyway, there will always be place for everyone. It is like censorship, never lasts indefinitely in a way or another.

Everything began in Nanjing University 26 years ago as singles day, 10 years ago with 27 stores, 140.000 today, 2.5x the sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday altogether. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/11/08/alibaba-singles-day-2019-preview.html https://megabonus.com/en/blog/full-guide-to-11-11-global-shopping-festival-sale/ https://blog.moneysmart.sg/shopping/11-11-sales-singles-day-singapore/

And without forgetting h.265 is more efficient than h.264 as for instance demanding for less bit rate straight out the box.

I am also surprised with such outcome in so short time to be pretty straightforward on here. This comparison shows a bit of this progress: Take a look on this even along such casual and random shooting: Launched today by the way:

This last one with a particular personal note... shot from the town where I went to the movie theater for my first time ever in my life more than 4 decades ago and in a way or another made my path until today : -) As seen here, both 25p and 30p are available @ 2.7K and to those worried with low light, here's another sample, not by night though, which gives a fair idea about: https://youtu.be/LcnBigf2EfY?t=559 Last but not least:

Interesting enough indeed : ) However, I find their 2MP lens for macro stills (not exactly video!) pretty useless, rather disappointing resolution-wise... Let alone if compared with OnePlus 7T Super Macro mode, here's a 3456 x 4608 sample from regular 12MP (as written here "the new super macro mode uses the wide-angle camera together with a new motor to bring super-close focus to the 7T") :

CONT'D on OnePlus 7T I wish some other cameras could have as efficient AF as these devices... LOL ; -) Seems their 720p 480fps curious too -- now go figure a Triptych on all its 2160p slowmo splendor... ; ) Not bad at all for what it is... OnePlus 7T Pro

Here's the link to Global Launch Event's long version where Mi TV is also presented: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjVwcR_GZ2E From minute 5:00 (second 300) on, you'll have an interesting scope on video outcome of this device -- rewind & forward to follow the leftover by this usual UK-based reviewer which means the global version has arrived to Europe:

After all the only difference is not the chipset which is the same middle class Snapdragon 730G (much lower than OnePlus 7T's 855+ as for instance, much more valuable route only to mention 4K60p for similar price*) as well 6GB/128GB vs 8GB/256GB and something they call 7P vs 8P lens system for 108MP mode I have no absolutely science what really is : D https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9936&idPhone2=9945 Other than looks like Chinese have chosen Lisbon for their products launch. * Here's a curious comparison: https://www.gsmarena.com/vidcmp.php3?idType=5&idPhone1=9936&idPhone2=9816 Xiaomi Mi Note 10 @ 2160p video sample OnePlus 7T @ 2160p video sample
