Well A9II is the last camera announcement from Sony this year, don't think there will be any til next year. And I am pretty sure the Pro division don't want any thunder taken from FX9/FX6 in such short time frame.
Guess Sony decide that the FX6 is the successor for A7SII/FS5, A7SIII is officially dead! They couldnt do 4K60p on A7 body.
I m really curious about the price of FX6, with AF and FS5 body form it could a winner if they keep the price similar to FS5 II
TBH the video crowd market is not that big IMHO, I guess that why Sony just keep 4K30P with 8bit and choose not to compete with Panasonic on video mirrorless. A9 probably sold a boat lot more than A7SII enough to have successor coming much more sooner.
Most of the jobs we done this year is on C100MKII/C200 in 1080P.. only very few job need 4K from our C200
I got EOS R as gimbal cam to supplement the C100mkii/c200
Manufacturer's are not dumb, they don't want to kill each other to death as much as they hate each other.
If you noticed we have 3 manufacturers releasing 5 cameras last week and they have different price point between the products
Crop mode might be actually supersampling from center portion (24/20mp portion? Not extreme 1.8x like EOS R), hence better quality and have warning of overheating when you select this option. EOS R's 1080p in APSC mode is also supersampling hence better quality than FF 1080p
I really like the AI powered editing app, they select and edit the footage for you, now if they can also edit wedding/corp it will be the real winner, I just shoot and let AI edit ?, would save soo much time lol
