enny
I thought those lenses are supose to be sharp? dont get me wrong i like the look but to me looks soft and not sharp at all compare to other like sankor must be the fd lens you are using. I just got me self one of those big lenses i belive its Bell and howell anamorphic and its sharper then sankor. And i can use 35mm and up with no vigneting at all but its a bitch being 5lbs Can you post some videos of ef or any new recent lens. Thanks Great work
dahlfors
Isco Ultrastars are very sharp. Apparently it was a quick test for him, and either he was too quick or he wanted the video a bit out of focus? Since, in that video the focal point is a bit off in all of the shots on either the anamorphic attachment or the lens - or both. Shooting those lenses with larger apertures gives you more work to nail the focus - both lenses need to be adjusted just right.
billputnamphoto
John - I'm just seeing these but wanted to ask who makes the 15mm rod rail supports yer showing above? Thanks. Cheers, Bill.
JohnBarlow
Bill, the rubber seals are from a hardware store, the tripod ring and rail support from ebay.
