1. I found this post there from @dreamplayhouse and I see this type of posts shouldn't be lost somewhere spread in the middle of separate threads strictly from cameras subforum only IMHO (why not to also pay attention to the 'footage' suborum too? BTW : ) hence the thread suggestion here ; ) so, follows reposted that contribution of this fellow of ours then, to begin with:

4. Hey there, I wanted to share my first test with my SLR Magic Anamorphot adapter and see if anyone else is using this adapter and what lenses they've found work well. Specifically for EF mount. I shot this with a Canon C100 using the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art lens, which worked beautifully. I'm looking to find other lenses that will work well which I've had little luck. I think it works best with lenses that have a narrow front lens element. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Here is the video:
5. I am trying to get in the habit of exposing to the right with my 5D Mark III raw footage. But how far to the right?   Below is a contact sheet made up of screen grabs I've taken in Resolve from untouched DNGs. I set the exposure for the first image using the false color function on my SmallHD monitor (which works great for exposing H264/AVCHD footage, but here it actually looks quite underexposed) and then I upped the exposure in one stop increments.   I am hoping that someone more experienced with raw footage than I can give me an idea of which of these would contain the most recoverable data (click to enlarge image):
6. https://vimeo.com/71812380     We are very thankfull for John Brawley's first ProRes Files of the Black Magic Pocket Camera. We have decided to use Final Cut X for grading because we want to know how to get some useful pictures in a short time without using a color grading software like DaVinci. 7. I have been dismissing this issue as a symptom of my aging home computer and its occasional inability to play 1080P files smoothly (a replacement is on the way), but now I am starting to think otherwise. Judder (also called "studder" or "stutter") seems to be a known issue with the GH2 (http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/526/gh2-stutterjudderstrobe-issues-discussion), perhaps moreso than other cameras that shoot 24 frames, and it looks like shooting in anamorphic magnifies the problem. Here's an example of what I am talking about, shot with a GH2 and Iscomorphot 8 2x:    http://youtu.be/2FBUue1-6Lk   If you aren't sure what you are looking for, watch the edge of the monitor and note the smoothness of movement (or lack of it) as I pan the camera.   Does anyone have a solution in post?
