ok but i find it odd that it never did this before. why would it do that yesterday and never before ?? even in low battery it didn't do it prior to yesterday

weird didn't change any settings and it is the first time i see that battery was close to full

did a couple shots yesterday with my "new" helios 44-4 and an m42-fx adapter. i was surprised to see the screen, and the evf when i was lookinf threw it, lagging big time at some moments. didn't lagg when was recording, at least not on screen, i hope all is ok since i haven't watched the rushes yet.

only two things would make me want it so far: 422 raw and internal nd but at this time we can only speculate. so wait'n see

movies or videos are like photography, it is more about the idea, the ocncept than the technic itself. too many people only think technics and give birth to nice technical things that give you no emotions at all. for example look at helmut newton's work, technicaly it is close to zero, hasselblad and sometimes one flash, but the concept and emotions he gives us threw his pics are still there. but of course once you master the technics you don't really need to worry about it. and i must say video is far more technical than photography

just the consequences of their products and prices policy. how can you expect selling expensive stuff that doesn't do half of what competitors sell for much cheaper... at a moment consumers start to feel fuc..ed up and turn to other brands

44-4 are fine too

are you sure about the pin for the 44-4, i have a 44-4 myself and there is the pin and no auto / manual thing. but most of the adapters do press the pin so no problem. i decliked it last week. quite easy even if it took me a while to understand how the aperture system worked.

only one mount for this lens, m42, use an adaptor and stack it. it works
