just watched it. my bad, 24 is the standard. so what should i shot at to get smooth slow motion content as i am now stuck with 23.976 ? will 59.94 be ok ?

thanks. i shot 23.976 because in my mind it is the "standard" for movies even if my project is not going to be a movie... i am shooting for youtube and vimeo, not sure what their standard is, probably 30fps ? to get slow motion in my 23.976 timeline what should i shoot ? i thought 60fsp (59.94) was ok if slown down by 40%. sure thing i that i already have some rushes in 23.976 so i am kinda stuck with it on this project.

hi all i am pretty sure there are some subjects about it but i guess i am not good with the search. i did some shots in 23.98fps on my xt3 as well as some in 59.98 to get slow mo a friend told me it was better to shoot in 25 for flicker as i am in france but also for colors purpose. also told me i can mix 23.98 25 and 59.98 there shouldn't be any problem. i know it is not good to mix 23.98 and 30 though. so let's talk about framerate, which one do you use and why ? not talking about the high framerates that obviously we shoot to get slow motion. if there is a good youtube about it i'll appreciate. still need to learn. (and if a subject exists i am happy to get a link and go read it) a first one about mixing framerates

is it normal to have my rushes h264 59.94fps in 8 bit ? resolve tells me it is 8 bit depth for the h265 it is 10 bit

actually it is not what premiere says, my bad it says "match source" but you can also choose differents parameters

i've just seen that premiere offers to transcode files when you create a project, it offers prores as well as dnxhd and no quality loss

did you try long time recording with the same camera on a different card ?

my point was to say that even in flog you can recover 2 stops of hi exposure, actually it depends more on your camera's sensor and it's dr. just to say that there are tons of shi... video on youtube where everything is "insane" just to get audience and full of craps

and there's nothing exectional in recovering 2 stops of highlights, but hey this is youtube, everything has to be insane ?

Should be ok but will try. The program i was told to use is ffmpeg based too and the gui is really easy to use, even batching, so i cross fingers

looks like scratch adds a watermark in trial and don't want to buy it just for trascoding. also have to say that the gui is...hmmm... special so i stuck with over 100go of h265 files that i cannot use at the moment. downloaded hanbrake which is a ffmepg gui but don't see or dnxhd prores export, any clues why ? any better gui for pc user ?

maybe the vintage lense he uses is the explaination
