I tried to use a HDR script that switches iso. I only tried to change it 1 times per second and still it stops/crashes the recording very quickly. I was planning to try switching with a gap of 0.04 but didn't since the slow one crashed immediately.
I measured how much an ISO change usually takes and it linux tool time gave a sys reading of 0.02 sec to 0.06 sec. My skills aren't enough to diagnose why it crashed the recording.

I think not. AAE is an ancient software that could be rewritten from scratch, because there are more elegant ways of representing layers on a timeline. But few complain, because they know the program, and it works just fine as it is, it's reliable. Merging PP and AAE (and make the jackalope an expensive Hitfilm) would scare off the faithful clients. Don't you think?
The problem is that PP has too many old and redundant features and over the decades became bloatware. 
But PP imo should be rewritten to seamlessly include the functionality of Prelude. Organizing media within PP is so marginal. Wiki:
As I see it, these are all core tasks of an NLE. None of them should be awkward clunky processes.

I wish Adobe would start a Video only package like they have for Photographers with Photoshop + Lightroom at $10. Give us Premiere + Media Encoder for $10.

Yep I know. But I had some (imo realistic) hopes, like implementation of cropped 4k, as a choice, for nx1 (ala nx500). 

I am sorry I am not really good with this stuff and I am still not understanding.
My proxies do match my original files just with smaller resolution.
Original file = 1920x1080 120p (H.265) -> Proxy = 960x540 120p (H.265)
Original file = 3840x2160 30p (H.265) -> proxy = 960x540 30p (H.265)
Both these files were ingested with the same ingest setting without doing anything to them in AME.
I think I am getting confused with this interpretation thing. If i put both the above videos on the same timeline they will both play in real time. Then I change the video speed of the 120p video to 25% for slow motion. Is this not what you mean by "footage interpreting"? Taking a high frame rate video and playing back at at a lower frame rate so its slow motion. In that case Adobe does not need to fix anything you just need to create a custom ingest setting.

The Olympus might not be available before Christmas from what I am hearing.

I just followed a friends advice, it seems to preserve better the highlights, but might be a placebo effect.
I have started to create the Lut pack, it will have between 10-15 luts, including color and black and white, and it should be available in the next week or so. Pricing will likely be between 15-20$, and should include a small "tutorial" on how to use them properly. Most of them will work nicely without any adjustment, one click edit, if you guys are using the settings I've been using for some months.

Hmm, must be some copy-to-copy variation, or maybe you just use yours a lot more than mine and it's loosened up a bit over time, because mine's nice and tight, easy to move, but stays exactly where its at.

OIS on the 16-50 is good, nothing really to write home about but on par with what you would expect from a "professional" lens. For photos you can easily get sharp photos 1/30 at 16mm and 1/50 at 50mm but I wouldn't really push it much further than that. I have never really notice the effects of lens stabilization in video most likely because I never shoot below 1/50.
DIS I found to be quite useful when I was using a makeshift dolly and sliding a tripod across a table lol.
OIS combined with DIS seams to work really well with a glidecam. But I cant really speak to how it compares to real 5 axis IBIS witch from what I have heard is amazing for steadycam shots.

There have been some updates after that version.

3x3 Grid (thick lines): with camera-ui not freezing (turn on/off from the menu)
note: overlay.png is still available as an option, just add your file and it will work (but the rest of the ui will freeze until you unload), if you want to use the non-freezing 3x3, simply remove the overlay.png from your sdcard.

2.35 filmgate: with camera-ui not freezing ( turn on/off with EV+OK)
note: if you are on NX1 you need to sacrifice another shortcut to use this one,
and simply rename EV_OK.sh to the one you like to use, before installing.
note2: it is possible to adjust the filmgate, just add the desired proportion as a parameter,
but you need to modify the bash command.
ex (for 16/9): /opt/usr/nx-ks/onscreen_235 1.77 

I would say that by not mentioning it in the launch indicates that there is a better chance of not having it then having it.
Im not saying they wont put it in. I am just saying IMO its more like 85% chance no IBIS and 15% IBIS.

@ricardo_sousa11 Holy shit dude! Those frames are so gorgeous, every one. Your stuff is always so motivating for me to go out and shoot. I for one would absolutely buy some LUTs from you. Keep up the good work, man. Very impressive stuff.
