A c70 looks way better then a R5 or r5c (have not seen a comparison with r5 ii). But I tempted to buy one, and its cheaperbused as well. Allthough i like the form factor of a r5 better + it can take good photos. Then again I was comparing it with an arri alexa and c500 ii. And both looked better then a c70. But more expensive and heavier/bulkier.

What camera would you pick video IQ wise? The r5 ii or your c70? What about run and gun? Thanks

I don't seem able to find a review video that compares the c500ii with the canon c80 and the c400. Did anybody came across one? I want to see the image difference between those camera's. I recently have used the C500ii and I love the image over lots of camera's (packs a lot of dr, and has good color, and looks smooth). The c500ii is quite bulky though. So I wonder if the C80 and C400 provide the same IQ.

Hi guys, Call me crazy, but I seem to missing the mojo from the canon 5DIII. At least for photography. (videography wise I think we can all agree the latest specs help out so much while shooting video, allthough I also miss the colors for video as well). But when looking through my recent photo's shot with S5II for example. They seem bland, while my photo's shot 10 years ago with the 5D III were banging. So I went to have a look at canon's site to see if there was ever released a new dslr after the 5DIV but there isnt. Not sure if the actual mirror of the DSLR's helps out to give it a smoother look / less digital. What other camera's these days have excellent colors for photography? As I might pick up a 5D III or 5D IV just for photography up again. Have not been into photography over the last few years though so not sure what has been cooking. Thanks!

Wow I did not even realize it did not had a flash hotshoe. Flash is so crucial for my style of photography. I cant understand how they can sell a 1000+ camera without a hotshoe flash..

Blackmagic had been doing that for a while. Allthough it comes at a price, it drains the battery faster. + makes the body a lot bigger.

Ah I might need to test it during daylight, if there is not enough IR light, it does not work it seems I found on the internet. So that might be the case.

Hi guys, I just bought a used dji mini 4 pro, and just started flying with it indoors. But the sideways obstacle avoidance does not seem to work(as I pulled left to the wall, and I manually stopped it 5cm before hitting the wall). Is there any way to test the sensors? Or are there modes where the obstacle avoidance does not work (I was in cinema mode I think)? thanks a lot!

I am sure it would help, but I don't think it would be as good as the one above. Cannot seem to find a decent comparison video between sony / panasonic on highlight rolloff/clipping though.

This video for example, there is lot's of golden hour footage with a pretty good highlight rolloff to my eyes at least. Never had that with a panasonic camera. (or have I seen elsewhere online, but feel free to correct me).

Also when using log profiled? I thought settings in log are quite limited? S-log or v-log (have not messed around with v-log settings, left it at default)

Is the sharpness not higher on the panasonic camera's btw? (The greencast I have seen, does not bother me, might be different when owning the camera and shooting product video's)

Well panasonic seems to treat highlights desaturated (more like film), while canon and sony seem to saturate the highlights a lot more. And clients seem to prefer the saturated look these days. Especially when shooting golden hour there is a big difference, while panasonic looks bland/neutral in comparison to sony/canon. I think the look clients want has evolved more to the sony/canon look straight out camera instead.

Hi Guys, I might jump brands again. Last years I have been shooting panasonic and blackmagic, but I might transfer to sony once again (I love the IBIS on the panasonic camera's, but I feel they are lacking some mojo vs sony/canon images, and while I do love that the L mount lenses have the same weight/filter thread, they do have a clinical/boring image). ho here has experience shooting anamorphic on the latest sony camera's A7SIII, FX3 and Sony ZV-E1? What is your experience with 1.5X, 2X anamorphics. Do you need an additional monitor (as I hate charging and carrying extra weight, so would always prefer the camera monitor itself). Do these camera's have desqueeze built in? I know panasonic camera's have this, but not sure of Sony. Thanks,

I was hoping on a big firmware update for the s5ii, but looks like a snoozefest. Unless I am missing something, there isnt anything in there that I need.

Hi, My variable ND's are quite old, and they always seem to wash out the image quite a bit (loose a lot of contrast and sharpness), and give it a slight colour shift. So I think renewing my ND strategy might be one the best purchases right now. Do you still a vari ND? Which brand do you swear by? Or do you use single ND's not variable, single ND's might also help a bunch. Thanks!

I never crop in, 4K and 6K is totally overkill for anything that I do.

Hi, I dont want to deal with post syncs on this shoot, so instead of recording into my zoom h6 I will record wireless lav (sennheiser g3) into my panasonic s5 and sony a7iii. Any settings/tips I should know to not f#ck up my audio recording? Thanks!

By networks, you mean TV networks? (Have not worked for them). Or you mean every contact you have. Have not shot with sony in a while, so not sure how much I am shooting myself in the foot. Allthough I would like to work straight for the customer in the future, more margin, customer doesnt care about gear, more control over income.

Yeah did some tests, seems like a combo of my disks and my gpu. Might need to invest in an upgrade of both..
