Even with a 16stops camera, shitty light will always look shitty.

With the pro-activity shown by samsung, I think it's rather odd they are not getting a similar profile ready for nx1, in a fw upgrade!

​Wow didn't know that! Thought it was 1500+! Personally im much more excited to get a full frame camera than a 4k capable one. Looks like its time to dig into the A7 and find out some more for me.

According to this table 5d2 can do 1856x1004 (in no-cropped mode) continously due to CF write speed limitation (75MB/s). Difference between this and 1080p shouldnt be very noticeble. 5d3 can write 100 MB/s on CF card so can do 1080p.

At least they're not taking the video game route and releasing junk firmware to meet a deadline.

Guys, it's absurd to say Canon is doomed because they're not putting out cutting edge DSLR/Mirrorless cameras for video. They're crushing in the stills arena. Their Cx00 lines are a hit. Canon glass is extremely popular. It's a bummer they're not catering to the small camera video crowd but they're not going anywhere.

i Doubt that a new codec will come. But i do expect slog3 from the fs7 to be there

I absolutely feel you on this one. I grew up as a fruit-booter, and that is (and has always been) a bastard sport in the US. Still love it though.  =]

Nice shots and montage. Keep it up.
Not sure about the music used. The riding and tricks themselves are perhaps already hard to give a bit of an epic touch, selecting a bit mellow music might dull things down a little. Different tracks might've worked better there, but perhaps you've wanted to do a different approach to skating/scootering videos by not picking your typical upbeat song. But then again, must be a reason it's typical. Matter of taste perhaps.
Also, be careful with black cuts like in the first video at around 0:35 there's two of 'em, if you were actually pushing smooth transitions before. It's a bit disruptive imho.

Didn't have much to say about it. Its a good camera with great bang for the buck so I just peppered it with footage instead.

This lens is what you are looking for, 10mm on canon vs 12mm on NX will be very very similar. The lens is awesome and very cheap for its excelent performance!

Released another video all shot in slow motion at the same location as the previous video, actually I shot this at the same time, just didn't cut it together until now. Some tech info is available in the vid description, although it's all essentially the same as that bird tracking vid I did (I shot this material on the same day).
Kept the video to under 2:30, as birds aren't that interesting lol
 
 

This whole thread looks like it is dedicated to where this works with EF-S or not.  Do you guys really have that many EF-S lenses?

id starts with a used 5D mark 2! after you really do a check in the condition of the camera, 
try not to buy from a proffesional photographer /videographer  because it will have 1 million takes on it, since the camera has been around for ages.
try to find one from a camera enthusiast that kept it in top shape! 
70d/old 7d 60d rebel etc are not worth it the 5d mrk 2 is much better.
you can also do the awesome ML raw, but its hell to process and edit.
