  3. Thx for the suggestion, and GH2 it is.
  4. Where can I get this Nikon mount? Anyone can offer some possible methods?
  5. Don't have this kind of experience before, anything we should look out?
  6. I'm not sure that Premiere can support H.265/HEVC codec, therefore it's better you should save H.265 to Adobe Premiere friendly video type, such as WMV, MPEG. I use Pavtube Video Converter for the job btw.

That's a big step for VR users. Glad to know that.
  8. Totally agree, and I have the D750, it records video beautifully.
  9. But I did not know Macbook Pro can use GPU, did I misunderstand something?
  10. Simple reason for me to choose Adobe is it is compatible with both windows and mac OS, so when I change my computer from windows to mac, I can keep using it without prchasing again.

I have a question here, what is 4K video for besides it is better video quality?
  12. Do you guys know any other camera can record 9K videos? I'm not a Sony fan.
  13. Does Canon have plan adding H.265 for recording codec? Anyone knows about it?
  14. I are interesated with 4K camera, and attempt to get one, If anyone can help answer this post, would be great.
  15. old thread , but still want to post here if you don't mind . I have also tried the Sony plug-in but with no luck, the most unbelieveable thing is that sony developed this codec but it can't deal with it by themself ! even for the sony vegas..... so I have to transcode the xavc to prores with some converter from pav, here is what I learned online, even you don't transcode them into prores, the fpc will help you do the same job in the backstage. So I just do it first which may speed up the rewrap conversion.
  16. any conversion my lose quality, but that may be the only choice before the premiere pro forward some solution.
  17. you can go to the latest Samsung NX 1 for new h.265/hevc codec shooting .
  18. Its' depend what will you use your videos for? If the files violate someone's right, then that may be a headache. And if you try to upload them on Youtube, the compression about this website is very heavy, the quality may not as good as your origianl files directly came from your camera.
  19. Like the new camera, this may be a big step to the real 4K word
  20. Well, if you wan to import it into some NLEs , that may not be realized until now. Since this codec is not wide spreaded. Or you can try some convert apps to help you. I recently have tried a app called video converter from pav, but it just has the Win version. And also the output format is only MP4. Oh, here is a video for you
  21. Still worth waiting for . But I have some problem about how to load H.265 videos into Premiere.....Hope Adobe will support H.265 soon
  22. And if someone who don't know how to play it on media player or want to load your videos into some NLEs, recommend to convert them. But .....quality drop is must thing to encounter.
  23. H.265 is in the developing steps and the wide use may still need some time. And even there are new 4K camera appeared in the market, like Samsung NX1, if you want to edit the raw videos, it still very hard to do that !
