  1. The 4K Photo Mode seems oriented to get good pictures from the video stream, not so much to have good video. My doubt about the LX100 was more a weight over the lens concern...
  2. That question is good, is the LX100 up to have an anamorphic adapter attached or it's not strong enough?? If the GH4 goes multiformat, it is THE camera to go anamorphic though!
  3. The Century Optics I have works a lot better with wide-angles than with normal lenses, on a big sensor camera. I would love to try it on the new LX100 at 4K... Never had a 7200!
  4. They probably did the wide shot first and then the close-ups. For those close-ups they probably used something a lot higher than 50fps, but you could always try with the ingredients you want/need and test to slow it down on the edit.
  5. Yeah, I would love the CM1 could hackintoshed to run iOS!!! The new iPhone Plus looks nice, but it is a $1000 brick!!! I should buy a hand bag to put inside. I don't intend change sex orientations to have a phone with OIS!!!
  6. Unfortunately is the most needed lens for m43 cameras. So they put the price according to it!
  7. I have a Canon 7D from the beginning, it has served me well. It is very nice to hold for taking pictures. I still have it just to take pictures, with a Canon 50mm f1.8 and a Sigma 30mm f1.4. It has been years I don't use for video!!!
  8. Wow, who would have thought we will be all excited for a Samsumg camera??
  9. Only problem for me with the FZ1000 is that 37mm is not wide enough! I should find a wide angle adapter. But the rumours you are talking about a LX100 sound really good!!!
  10. At least use a Vaio notebook to change the .txt file!!!! :P
  11. In a free world Sony can sell whatever they want at whatever the price. And we buyers should decide what to buy or not. Nobody argues that. But as Andrew and others say, if a multi-thousand euros difference is just a couple lines of code, owners will probably be favorable to the hack, so the cat vs mouse situation starts and never ends! It takes balls to test a hack on a 16K$ camera too!!!
  12. Come on Radiohead don't be shy!!! ;-DD It's really difficult for anyone to make a video just with the footage you have. Even more with electronic/dance music, in which you need "pulsating" images. So next time you are shooting, remember to zoom on particles that fly, water that flows, some unfocused shots, anything that moves quick!!! I used to VJ, so I really made house music videos in real-time! You can watch a demo-reel:
  13. The fact is good and I hope it got you money and will get you more work! But the edit really doesn't connect the images with the music. Is dull and has no rythm! It makes no justice to neither the music nor to your images! You would have made a x1000 better job!!!
  14. The Music Bed is great music, but for most little companies, $399 just for the music in a video is really too much. A price from 20€ to 50€ for legally/properly made music is a great idea!!!
  15. It is a very honest move, I hope they make a "must buy" camera!
  16. First question that came to my mind was: if they can make money selling it at 3K$, how much money were they making selling it at 4K$??
  17. This time Panasonic has tried to offer something really nice. The brick maybe ugly, but could bring 4K multicam to the masses!
  18. Tony Wilson, making people rich!!! I have the same Tokina Achromat with a red Redstan Adapter, accepting offers.
  19. Congratulations on the video Andrew! It's wonderful! I worked as a VJ for several years and I can tell you this video could be projected and make any club cooler!!!
