That looks pretty impressive!

Internal 4K will be impossible on current A7 size, hack even Sony have problems with 4K on APS-C sensor which the A7000 is pushed back.
-
Damn, wish there was a tiny Ninja Star style 4K ProRes recorder at NAB. A7S would love me for it.
Where is that!?
There is PIX-E5H from video devices for $1195 that record 4K/UHD.. and a 5" 1080p monitor as well

If they can released that lens on mft it is pretty tempting, 13X F2.8-F4.5 with powerzoom!
-
I bet all this tech will be on 1DC MK II instead. 5D IV will be still first camera for photographers like 7D II. Why? Because they are Canon, and they can milk it as long as they can, hey it's business not a charity.

All I see from the current sample it looks pretty bad, spec is meaningless if actual result can't back it up, so much for the "better codec"

Powerdirector from Cyberlink already support native H.265 editing, can't really see why Adobe can't.

Yeah Samsung make it inconvenient if you use third party glass, for example, remote shooting over wifi wont work at all if you have non Samsung lens attached. Panasonic cam is so much easier to work with.

Lol some people feels like everyone owes them all the time

Funny I ditched A7/5D2 for NX1/GH4 for wedding.. and don't miss the FF look, or "worse" low light performance, slowmo and aerial is the buzz lol.
For most client they don't really care about the stuff at we care. they just want good edited video with the right mood/atmosphere that show off their day.
For commercials they are much more picky, you can rent EPIC/FS7/C300 on the corner.
-
I uses both, for fast turnaround project or co-op with other people GH4 is the way to go, especially if you have same day edits for wedding, no time for transcoding! NX1 I mainly use it for gimbal (AF is awesome!)
GH4 can look cinematic if you know how to shoot and colour grade (same for other DSLR type camera including NX1)
Like this one is shot on GH4.. nothing docu look at all!

I like NX1's colour even though I only got it for a week compare to Panasonics (used since GH1), as I can always rent the A7s but not GH4/NX1 around my area so that's another reason why I bought NX1.
-
NX500 is really a 2.5K camera at heart, if you think like that it is not too bad. Luckily I bought NX1 instead of waiting for NX500, I will be keeping that little LX100 for a lot longer now lol.
-
And no peaking under 4K/UHD mode which sucks lol
For 4K wide angle under $1000 LX100 is the only camera that can do it
I wonder if NX1 get that 200fps option in later firmware
-
Samsung NX1, AF works quite well on 4K and 120p slow-mo, unlike others which 4K AF is slow and slow-mo is manual focus only
-
Good thing about that is it wont put strain on the motor, I had stuck lens on my LX100 until I take off the step up filter.
-
-
I guess I am keeping that LX100 a lot longer now, since no other cam can do 4K in wide angle for under $1000.

I think OP really should concentrate on 1 A cam vs lots of B/C cam. A few of my friends step up to FS7 or Red this year from DSLR/Mirrorless, for new client having a Pro looking camera can really win them over lol. (and they are willing to pay big $$$)
That said I am thinking of getting NX500 kit just to put it on gimbal, with 16-50mm, 10mm FE and 30mm F2 that should cover a lot of me needs, though NX1 with 120fps slowmo and working AF is really tempting too. Either one will replace my LX100, I still need GH4 for long events, with 256GB and battery grip it can last whole day of 4K recording which non of other mirrorless can do.
My friend done 3D Wedding once and he vows never to do it again, the post production for 3D sucks balls and you are forced to watch lots of 3D Footage. (not good for your eye... seriously!)

I used to be GAS adventurer, until I got shoot arrow in the knee.
Well the I work more I find that I am more of shooter than director, and gears is more than adequate atm. My friend is a lot more talented than me when it comes to shooting, his stuff was shown on many film festival, and he can think a lot of idea for shooting that I didn't think of, so while he was filming them on paltry 550D/60D still kick some people's work with more expensive gears (me included lol), but he did upgrade to GH4 at end with anamorphic lens to step up even further.
