Price will be at least $10k though

Taken it back off the list along with the Hassie X2D.

I already know what I am doing if something from L Mount does not appear within the next 3-6 months max and I think if I was still a pure photographer, I would go (or already have gone) digital medium format.

But as I ‘do video’ also, FF and/or APSC make more sense.

The more of these "affordable" (in name only..) medium format digital cameras that get released, then the closer a secondhand Pentax 645D comes to becoming truly affordable enough for me to buy on a whim! So that I can finally use my saved up Pentax 645 & 65 glass on it. (for now, one and half grand USD is the cheapest 645D on ebay 😕 )

Bring them on I say!

Fujifilm GFX1000 when?

Hopefully these come out soon enough for you:

Well if any of that is actually going to come to pass as the Lady Galadriel would say, it sounds like sticking with 6k and not chasing 8k?

To quote Top Gun, ballsy move.

So maybe FF 4 and 6k 50/60p with the next gen?

Hope so and works for me.

Intrigued by the compact zoom…

I presume 70-200 and if so, please make it a constant aperture unlike some options out there.

I don’t mind if it’s shorter than 200, or even shorter both ends so something like a 50-150mm f2.8

I probably wouldn’t complain if it was f4 because you know, zoom, outdoors and all that.

I’m done with big gear now. I left Nikon for Fuji 12 years ago dumping the built in grip pairing of D3S bodies with 24-70 and 70-200 to go ultra lightweight. And it was liberating, but year on year, the bloat has gradually sneaked it’s way back in.

My current main stills unit is 2.8kg FFS!

1.5kg max going forward…

@Attila Bakos Isn't the chroma smoothing only inherent to Fuji X-Trans APS-C line? GFX uses Bayer CMOS.

Not really surprised at pricing considering that:

1. This is supposed to compete with the $8K X2D 100C

2. You can already get a 102MP GFX100S for $5K/6K.

I'm not in the market but hopefully some of the video specs will trickle down to X series (touch-to-track AF & WFM).
