Focusing problem

Reference the anamorphic shooter guide here on eoshd.  But the short of it, any anamorphic, besides an Iscorama, have to simultaneously be matched in focus length to the taking lens to achieve a "sharp" picture.

Example:  set anamorphic lens to 4 meters, and set the taking lens to 4 meters.  any time you change focus, repeat this matching process.

yeah you kinda get the hang of when you have gone too far on either lens. They kinda stretch the lines that should be in focus horizontally then get close and go vertically, Like if you watch for it you can tell when you are at the sweet spot for each lens even if its not in focus yet. Goes horizontal, then vertical back to the pot then move the opposite lens and what he said trying to match distance. You get better with practice.
