So the EISA awards came out today.
Its put together by "journalists" from different countries around Europe.
(Please note that its not working journalists that use a camera. Its “journalists” that write about and review cameras :grin: )

Any who, they say that 2017-18:

It's almost as if they created that category especially for Panasonic.

They got it wrong in many categories.

Huawei P10 is soundly beaten by the camera on the Google Pixel XL and Samsung S8.

I am not sure the A6500 qualifies as best prosumer mirrorless with so much competition out there like the X-T2, and I guess A7R II is too old to be voted for again :)

Interesting the Nikon D7500 won a category. I thought everyone hated it! Why not D500?

Yes but D7500 is APS-C as well, a crippled D500 for almost the same price. I guess they included it because it's newer, 2017.

Maybe there haven't been enough good prosumer DSLRs related in 2017 for them to select anything else!!

What I meant was that the D500 is a Pro camera in their minds and therefore disqualified to be considered "Best Prosumer".

And in the Pro class they didn't want to give it to a crop sensor at all.
