The 70mm for m43 Is like 140mm for ff Check with a 35mm. and 2.8 ff becomes 5.6 for m43 If i use mine It goes like This First Is ff 70mm 2.8 second is m43 35mm 1.4

That's my point. framing will not be the same because of crop factor You need to compare the same dreaming

problem is distance to subject. if you have a crop then your field of view changes. to have the exact same framing you need to move and then you change the dof
  4. i might have much better here, love it, looks perfect for video editing. powerfull too, i9 inside. but, it comes at a price... i might sell a kidney to get it https://www.asus.com/uk/Laptops/ZenBook-Pro-Duo-UX581GV

    doubting is not knowing
  6. well first you might wanna think about the fact that most of the cinema cameras are S35 and not ff, so ff looks maybe kinda hype but S35 is not bad at all
  7. i doubt sony is ready. with the releases of the bmpcc6k and the S1h if i was sony i would have done some kind of teaser at least to "kill" the attraction of this 2 cameras and have people to wait for the official annoucement of a new cam. the didn't move an inch. but maybe they're terrible at marketing
  8. well, i also have a cable that works. that's not the issue. the problem is with the nucleus nano. so is the nano malfunctionning or is it something else ?
  9. camera just came out. every camera that is brand new has flaws. future firmware will correct a few bugs i'm sure.
  10. come on, if it was compatible i would just have bought the cable. the cable is from titlta, the only that could have worked according to a tilta representative. well, it didn't. so i just have to figure out how to connect the wires to have it work but i might have a malfunction that is why i did this post
  11. can someone give me the best settings to have the higher quality image / bits to avoid having dropped frames with the 5d mkii
  12. guys i need your help. i don't get it. so as the cable i had with the nucleus nano didn't work i went for a cut to try to find what is the right wiring. when i have the red and black inverted it works, i mean it triggers the cam, but only when i touch the cables. when the cables are tied and i push the rec button on the nucleus wheel nothing happens ? don't get it. any ideas ? guess it has something to do with the power maybe. i even wonder if it is not malfunctionning because when i test it with the voltmeter there is no voltage difference when i push the rec button and i guess something should happen or it should be at 0 when not recording 20190831_113532.mp4

why don't you compare with xt3 hlg which is better than log ?
  15. I tried 2x with a satec. It was pretty good. Will test this one next week
  16. and there it is, will do a few tests soon
  17. even the 35mm lenses andrew ? but they are big for such small cameras ?
  18. probably the xpro 3 ? 99% chances it will be aps-c as fuji doesn't seem to be willing to get in the ff market and the xt3 sold pretty well i am expecting a sankor any days soon. hope fuji will do some for anamorphic users
  19. to me full frame is a bit overrated, so many cinema cameras are s35. you're right about evf, i am thinking about getting the bmpcc6k but i know i will need an evf to go with it as i really don't like framing and filming only with a monitor, i don't feel beeing into it without an evf. for steady you still can use a gimbal but sure it is less handy i wonder also if resolve will allow processing the raw from pana, if not then pana will suffer a lot but the pocket does 6k and not only in 24p...
  20. don't share that opinion, mostly it is just that grading is badly done. too many think grading is just about using a lut and that's it... but sure it's all about the story.
