  1. this video is old and it was using one of the first firmware if not the first
  2. ok, but i never found a clear workflow for rcm. and the more i read the more i get confused. to me the real question is "will it still be there after transcoding to prores or dnxhr" because you don't want to work with h265 files directly in resolve. or you have to create proxy files. did a test and i had a clear difference in red
  3. getting better https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzeMiTNdFUzcSgjUEuCw6gw
  4. speaking of ninja, got my cage today, pretty cool

you guys have money to spend ? https://www.newsshooter.com/2019/05/24/angenieux-optimo-primes-announced/
  6. looked a bit into lenses offer, mostly fuji of course but i am surprised to see that prices are not crazy. pretty sure it will sell well. personaly i would go for it for photography if i had the money
  7. same here. for flog i am loading the fuji flog to rec709 lut in rcm so rcm should still be working.
  8. I know i was talking about my test on the previous page
  9. Weird i have a difference when transcoding the file.
  10. you clearly see a difference on my pic anyway. so looks like problem it not solved. one question. problem is with fuji flog internal files. it means ninja files are not affected right ? to correct it do we have to apply the fuji lut flog to rec709 ? or do we have to always apply this lut to files coming from the fuji and also the ninja ? because when you mix sources it is a bit a tricky to apply the lut only to some rushes. or maybe you can convert fuji internal files to prores or dnxhd applying the lut ? (shutter encoder can do that)
  11. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fsmallrig%2Fposts%2F1860037350768509&width=500" width="500" height="800" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allow="encrypted-media"></iframe>
  12. i have to say the more i use my xt3 the more i love it, and the more i like editing and grading. maybe because it is my first real video camera after my 5d mkII ? was thinking about buying a bmpcc4k as a second camera (or main), no so sure to do it. will probably do because with the full license for resolve it is a still.
  13. for photography, definitively. never looked into the range price of lenses though for video, don't know.
  14. but i am using dnxhr ? seems to be the same here
  15. https://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/27891-i-will-be-getting-a-fuji-x-t3/?do=findComment&comment=291262
  16. ok. can you tell me more about full data level and why is it not set to full by default ? just discovered that it was set to auto and when setting to full then image changes and seems to be flatter than without (flog)
  17. well... since i have the free version h265 will not open in resolve can convert to dnxhr using shutter encoder but will it change something ? edit: converted to dnxhr. on the image, left is ninja, right is fuji h265 converted to dnxhr
  18. what do you mean ? will be able to do that within a few hours as i have to work in resolve
  19. yep. but how to be sure ? anyone skilled enough to test it ?

new still from my new film i am working on. no grading yet. xt3 and tamron 24-70 g2
  21. right. just saying that you can also set a tracking point in post and voila. but of course it's better if you export in 1080 or 2.5k and shoot 4k. problem with sliders is that sometimes it is not that easy to use and to get parallel for exemple
  22. depends. if you export 1080 and shot 4k then you have room to stabilize and crop / zoom so it will look smooth. if you export 4k then yes you need a little practice but i think the new gimbals are getting really good and it does help
