I’ve done commercials with BMD cameras and Software that A LOT of people have seen, a lot more people than the people writing and viewing this thread, did I get a free camera? Can we put this shit behind us?
I have P4K, T5 and 5 LPE6 at the moment. Probably rounded up to say 1800

I think that there's not at all anything special in general about shooting with GH5, distinctive from any other hybrid camera... For specific settings in detail you may ask or search...
The same about shooting with 10bit HLG profile, once after you "normalize" footage to rec709 space. In Resolve it is possible weather using Driftwood's free "tecnical" luts while keeping common value "Davinci YRGB" in path Project settings=Color Management=Color space&Transform=Color science, or change that value to ""Davinc YRGB Color Managed' following with "Rec 2020 HLG" (somebody use 2100HLG) as Input and Timeline Color space, and Rec.709 HLG as Output Color Space in corresponding fields... Further you make grade changes as to your choice.
Or you could use some of the paid Luts... it seems that most appreciated are GHa by @Sage or those by Paul Leeming (One).
So, just to wish for you old good... happy shooting.

@kye I bought both and love to use them but I use the Daylight LUT more since I'm shooting more during the day plus the colors are not too orange in white light during the night. Have shot few scenes anything under Tungsten lighting though so your preference may vary. Also want to hear from @Sage for this

Don't really know anything about this camera in terms of spec. Stumbled on the ungraded footage on John Brawley's website. Thought I'd give it a whirl to see how it holds up ?

You can either bump up the iso and apply Neat, or shoot underexposed then bump up the brightness / exposure in post. Also, it's recommended to shoot CineD and no Vlog with less light.

Thanks! I'll look into the Sony 35mm f1.8. I was looking into the Sigma 16mm f1,4 before but it's too high for the budget plus I think the Sigma 18-35 gives the same results, image-quality-wise.

Oh for Hobby. I am 71 years old. I retired a long time ago. I want nothing to do that involves work anymore LoL. Did that stuff for over 50 years. Thank god for legal drugs, ehh prescriptions.
I had a Panasonic AF100A and really sort of regretted selling it. Hard to not have a Cine camera for the convenience.they offer. I have worked with, and owned a lot of ENG cameras years ago. My A7s is really nice, but not great for my big hands. I am more of a tripod guy anyhow.  Running n Gunning Ain't in my vocabulary anymore! If i tried flying with a Gimbal I would fly alright, right off some cliff probably.

I'm also a recent A6500 shooter but still have my Panasonics. Bought it from a friend for cheap just to try and use it as a C-cam to the GH5/s. I have a Sigma 18-35 to pair with the A6500. What lenses are you using? Any recommendations?

Indeed, its the classic Quicktime Apple/Windows gamma conflict. Apple has discontinued support for Quicktime; VLC is an optimal player for its efficiency and simplicity. To test the handling of exported files by Vimeo/Youtube, upload the file, and choose 'Private' for the video's visibility as it uploads.

The guy who uploaded this is a pretty well-known commercial director in the Philippines. So I'm not surprised about the grading and the kinds of shots that he got from the P4k ?
