  1. From the description of the video:

I put the Viltrox EF-M1 (had to return my M2 for the same reason) to the test against the Metabones Speed Booster XL EF. The Viltrox adapters (M1 & M2) have been the talk of the town as of late as the internet has claimed that this adapter provides Metabones quality at a fraction of the price. I bought into this claim only to find out that both the Viltrox EF-M1 and Viltrox EF-M2 both have serious issues with flare. It boggles my mind how there can be so many reviews and no reports on this very serious degradation of image quality? I hope you find this video helpful and I'll catch you on the next one. *All clips were given the same Blackmagic v4 Extended Video LUT with no additional color correction/grading done to the image to maintain consistency throughout the test.

Finally I bought a Sandisk Extreme Portable Ssd instead of the Samsung T5. (or making my own) Better price for the same config and better performance.
To my surprise it performs quite a bit better than the announced  550MB/s read speed - In the BM speed test I got R:800+MB/s and W:700+MB/s !! (formatted in ExFat) even after a few minutes run.
Recording with the ssd it delivers too. No dropped frames in any settings (raw 4k dci @ 60 fps is no problem)

Could you post a screenshot with results of your test? Because other tests show that the write speed of Sandisk SSD is about 500MB/s. Thank you.

That isn't your video is it Snuff? Or is it?

Just letting you know that putting in the shooting details with nothing else makes it seem like you are sharing your own work.

It is not my video. When I put my video here I write about it.

  4. Can P4K export picture with LUT by HDMI on the external monitor?

    Got email from HOTROD:
"Thank you for your continued patience while the Blackmagic Pocket 4K cameras slowly trickle in to us.  The original shipments we were receiving were only single cameras.  We have just begun receiving 2 to 3 cameras a week.  We are hopeful that production will begin to ramp up soon and we will be able to deliver cameras more quickly, but we don't have any solid information on if and when that will happen".

  5. My 0.64x speedbooster on the old Pocket is also not very tight, the lens with the booster can be rotated slightly around its axis. I wrote in support of Metabones and they sent me a replacement booster and it also did not sit tight. Then they sent me a new bayonet ring (camera side) for a booster with a tighter fit. But I have not tried it yet, I will put it when the Pocket 4K comes.

I read that as you telling us this info - but I guess it was just copy/paste the description from the original uploader. Either way, nice video whoever made it ?

It is my mistake, I should have put in quotes the author's text. I'm sorry.

  7. 38 Seconds of footage from the Pocket 4K. Just initial test. Will have a lot more soon! I will make this private in a bit but it's for those that wanted a bit of footage from Day 1. I'm not fan of the shakiness since we didn't have the appropriate gear, nor did we have the Wireless FF.

DNG 3:1. 24fps and 60/24fps, there’s some light DNR on some of the clips.
Sigma 18-35mm Nikon with a Hoya ProND 8 (I put this on and forgot I had it on for the whole duration). Viltrox Nikon to m43 version. Ronin-S.
4th Axis Stabilizer (Didn’t know how to set the tension at this point, next clips will be better!). Light warp on the beach clips.
