Wrong, technically ef-s lenses are only made by canon, they have a longer plastic bit at the end. Third party lenses like the Sigma's mentioned above will go on any full frame EF camera just fine , even if they're only designed to cover aps-c, they still feature the regular EF lens mount.

I run an NTG-2 into a Tascam DR-40. When I bought it I was lusting after the NTG-3 but couldn't justify $700 at the time for one as I only infrequently use a shotgun.
As others have said, the NTG-2 doesn't put out the hottest signal, but after some research I bought a FetHead xlr booster thing for it, and now it's awesome! You let the NTG-2 use it's own battery power and the FetHead takes the phantom from the recorder and supercharges the mic with an ultra-clean +20db boost. Basically, I went from having to have the Tascam's gain cranked past 75 to 80 all the time get good sound, now I rarely take it past 20. It's been a real game-changer for me, and really takes care of pretty much all of my audio needs. GAS averted!

Looking forward to buy this baby so much, belive me I wanted this damn thing since I ever looked at the NX1 I almost did not even buy it because Metabones did not have any adapters for it but the specs pushed me.
I honestly never seen a camera system receive so much community support as the NX1 imao.
Those greedy peckers at Samsung ought to see how much people love their cameras and stop making their damn Galaxy S-infinitiv and make more Smart cameras, Samsung should have made an adapter themselves, I do not understand the reasoning not to, if they did more people would have bought the damn thing.
Seems counter-productive to me to relay on third party manufacturers to do it for you

I disagree, dude. I've got a pretty thriving business that's equal parts stills and video and the NX1 and NX500 do everything I need and more stills-wise. Fantastic dynamic range, high mp for great detail, wonderful adaptability for vintage lenses... Honestly what more do you need? This new speedbooster will only make things better, I can't wait to see how different some of my lenses look wider and a stop faster.

The EF mount that can then also be adapted to Nikon is a wonderful idea, in my opinion the best of both worlds really (that way I don't have to switch out all my FF rokinon EF glass for Nikon!)
So @lucabutera what's your current thinking on a production-run of these babies? Is some sort of crowd funding campaign necessary in order to scale up production and secure orders?
Let us know whatever we can do to help! Exciting times for Samsung-abandoned NX-users everywhere.

    Thanks everyone for support.
I would like to clarify that I have not started working on NXL adapter to make money. I decided to invest my time and my money for the love of NX1 camera.
I am a ex user of the Canon 5D mkII, 5D mkIII, Black Magic C 4K, Sony a7s (waste camera, always crash with metabones smart adapter).
The only thing I missed in this camera was the FF look that could not give me the aps-c sensor.
I recommend this adapter videomakers, photographers who like to shoot in manual control, and have a large park full frame lenses and photographers who use the camera for artistic photos of portraits or landscapes.
Responding to Pavel, the camera with NXL adapter, shoots at ISO 800 as ISO 1600 without NXL adapter, so even for the night is very indicated. Do not recommend to buy this adapter to those sports photographer because she would not have any benefit.
Surely you will be better than me to find strengths and weaknesses of this adapter, and only you will know to use it according to your needs.
It certainly is not perfect and certainly in the future, with your suggestions, I can improve it.
Now I'm ready, I'm happy to announce that, I am preparing the website for a Kickstarter, where you can order the NXL adapter.
P.S. Meanwhile I enjoy the Olympics on TV tonight!

Come on people, give the guy a brake! Let him finish his personal project, and then we can propose improvements or be critical in ergonomics and IQ.
In any way, Luca invests his personal time and money, and it is truly admirable what he has achieved so far (something that even metabones didn't touch). I believe that AFTER the product is finished there are a lot of experimenting and testing to check the real possibilities and improvements of the adapter. I hope someone will take it from there and add electronics, even if it takes a while arduino board on a box somewhere!

Today I go in a shopping centre to try others Canon lenses. This is the short video. Today I stop the prototype and I star to build a pre-series NXL adapter.

Hello Pavel, thank you for your interest.
These days I'm tightening commercial agreements with suppliers of parts and artisans.
I would like to reach a selling price as those metabones 449.00 / $ 499.00 each.
This is a great price considering it is built by hand in Italy and you can mount almost all the best full frame lenses on the market.

Tnx. The EF mount is a big step forward. The factories of adapters should not only build an adapter for all lenses because not economically convenient. But I am an Italian craftsman, then, considering the price, for obvious reasons, will be more expensive than mass-produced in China, I prefer that, who buys a NXL can use it with all the lenses, this is a great advantage because even if you spend a little more you can use it with any lens. In future I adding electronic controls and smart functions.

    Updates NXL NX / EF:
Hi, I worked on this adapter for a few consecutive days, the biggest difficulty was finding the right point of distance between the lens and sensor.
A tenth lower and slamming into the sensor, a tenth farther and slammed into the lens.
Find the right setting to infinity focus it seemed impossible, and some moments I was throwing in the towel with canon EF mount to return to Nikon.
All this for 0.05 of a millimeter (Canon EF mount is definitely the final flange focal distance limit).
Now fortunately, the system works perfectly and soon will publish the first tests with Nx1 camera.
    See you soon.

If you're a premiere user, the new lumetri color panel offers a quick and easy way to nail this kind of look, you can just click the little color buttons on the wheel and boost what you want, and pull everything else down to full desaturation. Sometimes it works better than others though, for example on the two examples posted there might be red in the skintones that sticks around a bit. It is very fast and simple to use though.

No, you do not modify the body camera. If you get a speed booster EF, you can use all full frame lenses: Canon EF, Sigma SA, Praktica (baionet P/B),Minolta AF/Sony Alpha, Exakta, M39 ( ZM39), M42, Pentax k, Contax/Yashica (C/Y), DKL mount, Yashica MA,  Olympus OM, Nikon G/F , Leica R, Arri STD-B-PL, Mini T - T - T2 mount, Novolfex A mount.
One speed booster for all lenses! Are you happy?

After much work and many sleepless nights, I have almost finished my work and I think I have brought the lens NXL to the point of being sold to the public.
I thought if the test this week will be positive to produce it with Canon EF mount dumb to which you can add a Nikon adapter with iris aperture control.
At this stage it allows to mount all Nikon and Canon lenses, in the future I will continue to work to enable the electronic control of the lenses.
