Yeah but then you have to layer the camera model per layer. Just tested hiding the adjustment layer but it then the grade doesnt get applied either, so not that usefull im afraid.
-
Oh I am not behind my pc atm but does hiding the adjustment layer also not disable all effects on it? If thats the case then its not that usefull. As after a global grade, every clip reacts a bit different and I need to set it right by eye.

Thanks, glad that you brought this up. How do select all footage from one cameta to apply a conversion if you are working with different camera systems. Or do you do this manually, going clip by clip? As my timelines are shuffled between cameras and I have to look up which camera it is at each clip, which is quite a drag. So a select all where filename starts with a000 or something in the edit timeline page.

Hello, Does anybody know how to lock an adjustment layer in resolve in the color tab so you do not accidently change the adjustment layer, as when I am browsing the clips in the color page, it often switches to the adjustment layer without me noticing and I start tweaking the adjustment layer instead of the individual clip. (locking the adjustment layer in the edit tab does not work) Thanks,

Canon EOS R5 / R6 overheating timers, workarounds, and Magic Lantern
zerocool22 replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Yeah I was thinking the same, but then I started thinking: I might miss good shots due to the fact im afraid to take many shots out of fear of it overheating. So it will prolly be creative limiting your use of the camera. -

Lets wait on some test results from some users. Might be interested in the R6, if the overheating is solved. Otherwise I will go for an panasonic S5 I think. R5 is just too pricey, a7S III as well. -
Nah Fullframe is not needed. But for me it is handy if you do photography(full frame) and video and you want to share the same lenses. A bit offtopic: but the dynamic range of the 8K R5 RAW shouldnt be limited by clog right? So It is safe to say that the pocket 6K has more DR then the R5?

Panasonic S5 Entry Level Full Frame seems to be real...

From another comparison video, the ibis of the s5 was way better the a7iii. -

yes well the S1 and S1H have 1 stop more of ibis over the S5, but I am still leaning towards the S5 because of the weight(flipscreen). For walking shots you still need a gymbal/glidecam anyways so I figure I rather lift 300GR less each time I fly it. And prolly because it is smaller and lighter it gets mounted much faster, and doesnt need that much precision on a ronin s for example(could be wrong but I def noticed the difference rigging a RED vs my old GH4). -

Too bad even the 45mm 2.8 and the 20-60mm kitlenses dont have any OIS. -

Does the OIS and ibis also work togheter if the lens is a canon EF lens? -

The 20-60 does not look appealing to me. Variable aputure from +3.5 and the same for the Panasonic 16-35 F4. I get you can pump up your iso a bit on these camera's, but even just DOF wise. -

I would sell the 45mm and get an EF adapter. But what EF adapter works the best: - Viltrox - Metabones doesnt seem to have yet? - Sigma - novoflex -

@Andrew Reid do you still have your s1/s1h would you be able to compare ibis on the s5 and the s1/s1h? As Gerald says its not as good, and newsshooter says its the same. -

@Andrew Reid Thx for the S5 review. The pocket 6K is 5$ cheaper then the S5 though, so you might want to cross that advantage off. -
Because 90% of my lenses are FF.

Thats preference I think, I rather have the smaller body + the flipscreen.
