sorry all I see is reduced vibrations and jello.
But it sounds like none of you have the camera. So let's all try and not stear the thread of topic and wait for someone that have it to confirm or deny the usability of the DIS. 

To my eye the example in your link shows that it massively reduces jello...
Btw, in my experience stabilisation always reduces jello. What IS is it you have used that also has some sort of additional jello correction? Never heard of it before.

Wow. Just when I thought Samsung had finally slowed down on the feature-adding updates, they come out of nowhere with DIS. Unexpected to say the least. Results look fairly promising

Favorite is 20mm on s16.
On s35 or FF I prefer 35mm.

Because they're touted as a feature, so manufacturers want them activated on store displays by default. It's the same reason most TVs' default color balance is insanely blue to make it look brighter, and why plasma never took off. It doesn't do well on a shop floor. Hell, that's the only reason 4K is selling; people stand way closer in the store than they do at home, so the set looks way more detailed than what they'll actually see in their living room.

 

I noticed it during my Looks test a couple of posts ago. I remember it as several cranks on the aperture. Will retest.

Can report that the fellow on eBay selling the 64gb Lexar Cfast 2.0 for less than a 32gb costs in Sweden is legit.
It's obviously some sort of Grey import since it shows up with a sticker in moon language and no warranty. 
It was professionally packaged in anti static bags but not in an official Lexar box.
No customs or import tax within the EU.
Tried it at 305mbps for a couple of minutes without hiccups.

Yeah I also wonder why people so often dismiss stuff they don't understand with "living in the past", or "amateur" or even "hipster".
I don't get why someone likes video, enjoy the movie "Lord of the Rings" or playing Soccer. 
But it's clear to me that many do, and that's all good. I don't think It's because they don't know better. It's just their thing. The look of film is my thing.

Version 2 of the Beta is out, just reinstalled and all my audio issues went away
Now there are 0 reasons for me to keep CC.

Ive just looked at some of yesterdays shoots from after sundown and started playing a little in Resolve.
I like what I see so far. Im installing the Beta of R Studio so it might be a while untill I have some video to post.

Ok...now I'm definitely going to add this to my camera bag after seeing more footage.  

Went to a race track. Only had about two hours, no tripod, no credentials to get closer to the track or a decent microphone.
But I still wanted some video from it.

Would be really fun to bring a good mic next time, get credentials and do some reporting as well. 
Simply didn't have the time for preparation or at the track.
Oh well maybe by winter I have time for my hobby again

So I took it for a quick run when I went to the store.

Wanted to see how the XC10 worked under really bright conditions in C-Log using just the built in ND. 
The C-Log has a base of ISO500.
No highlights where blown when making this video.

But usually, you won't need to render in the Edit page, since pretty all funky things happen in the Color page (those few old-fashioned effects can't be a big deal).
