I'd still want to see 120fps against nx1.

I am happy with the camera, though it has its downsides, 180p causes horribly moiré. One has to know this, so it s not a big deal

Cancelled both GH5 pre-orders today.
Not liking what I'm seeing, unfortunately. Will stick with my Blackmagic Pocket and Micro until a Pocket successor comes out (hopefully).
Also, besides rolling-shutter, which I personally have no problem with, I am not finding the current GH5 image anymore superior to my A6500. Perhaps the 400Mbit ALL-I will change this?

Just watched Max Yuryev's GH5 video and the autofocus performance did not impress me at all. Disappointing.

I can't think of any lens sharp wide open at F/1.2 can you?  Even my 85 II is not wonderful wide open.
Because it's still physics.  All things being equal the smaller sensor will not match the usable (key work, usable) DR of a modern FF sensor.
They are touting the 12FPS.  A 300 2.8 is the bread and butter of a sports shooter's kit (especially for field sports.  This comment of mine was in regards to the photo side of things.
Compare the real 800 5.6 size vs. at 100-400 at F/11.  It's a big difference in IQ and performance - there's a reason the 800 5.6 is $10k.
We'll have to disagree here on the merits of my "factual basis" vs. your confirmation bias..  Glad to see you're so passionate again for the latest camera du jour.  I get it - I'm that way too sometimes.
Had this on the 1dx II.  Is any of the 4k 10 bit in camera?  I don't think it is, but I'm not sure.
Yeah for stills.  Does the video AF work any better, or even as good as the Canons or Sony's?  No.  Run and gun folks like video AF.
If you can honestly see a big difference between the final output of a GH4 and this, then you must be the target audience.  I'm just not seeing the big deal here, but that's me.

I'm waiting to see how this camera at 120fps stands again nx1. But, anyway, I doubt I'll ever be really excited by a camera with a m4/3 sensor, being more interested in stills than video. Especially when there is no more weight advantage.

get out of your cave man. The "MF is for pro, AF for small hobbyists" is a thing of the past. 
Not so long ago we used MF in photography. Do you know many pro photographers shooting weddings photography in MF??
Nope. For video we are right at the curve now. In 5 years from now, 5% of pros using A7S like bodies will shoot MF in video. 
When you have used a Canon DPAF system you know it's the real deal, not only making your life a lot easier, but opening your creativity allowing shots impossible before (or very difficult for a one man operation).
Good luck run and gunning with swallo DoF with a DJI Ronin gimbal and your Manual focus camera mounted on it. 

Personally I'll be waiting to see more footage out of this camera. 
Because I'm still addicted and in love with my NX1. I work in stills and movies and it's very strong in both. I love how my clients are always blown out by the colors and details from the image straight out of the camera.
And also because I have never been a big fan of GHx color science or noise management (I find the image never clean enough for my taste).
I don't really like speed boosters because you usually lose some AF speed, and also it's expensive. First low light tests I have seen haven't blown me away. I'm not saying I'll never be interested in the GH5, but I have never been a camera "early adopter".

The GH5 spec are impresive, the image apperars to be very good, buuuuuut this is not 2014, there are more options, more 4K cameras with good video and specs too.
NX500, NX1, GH4, A7, etc...
And it´s a 2.000€ camera, I want one but I need to pay it and paided works are bad for me

Andrew is in the throes of New Camera Mania (™) and it won't wear off for the GH5 until a new "pretty good" prosumer camera is released that has a lot of shortcomings but produces a decent image. 

I had one pre-ordered and was gonna sell my NX1 and A7s to help fund it... But I decided to cancel and wait until I could try it out and also see what NAB brings (as I am in no desperate rush). I then used the NX1 in the alpes last month and just really enjoyed shooting with it... Might have to hang onto that for a while. (The A7s can go though!)

Could they at least just sell off those NX 300mm f2.8 demo units? Fast long lenses with AF are a total weakness of this system.

As long as companies such as panasonic, canon and sony will try to protect their higher end cameras by not including RAW, I think the NX1 will have a say, because of its ergonomics, 6k sensor, speed, autofocus, and also its community !

This is caused by the lack of serious competition. Finally amd is back, prepare for a step up in the game soon.

I’ve received the parcel. NXL-0055 is awesome. Incredible conversion factor on top of super optics. It looks like NXL-Optics is better than Metabone Speed Boosters)) I tried many original Metabones when i was m43 user, but finally quit from them.
 
I have two manual Samyang lenses: 24mm/1.4 and 16mm/2.0
Both get a new live with NXL… 16mm/2.0 becomes close to 11mm))

Lol. Guys, you do realise you sound like diehard Canon fanboys but in IT world?  

As much as I love my nx1 and lenses, I wouldn't buy another samsung camera, unless it's based on the same nx mount (since I have a lot of lenses for it) and it's a leading product once again. 
I would never ever buy a Samsung camera with a new mount, be it apsc or ff.

After abandoning the NX community just after releasing two news cameras (NX1 & NX500) and pro lenses, I don't see anyone in their right mind investing any of their money again if Samsung ever had the idea of coming back to take more of our money. Camera market is not a market where you can just come and go. Reputation is (almost) everything. Samsung were given the benefit of the doubt but most professionnals did not switch from their Canons or Nikons to Samsung because of their lack of history in the PRO camera business. Mark my words - which are just my analysis and don't come from anywhere else - if Samsung ever comes back to the camera industry (which I HIGHLY DOUBT THEY EVER WILL) it would be a total economic failure. Because no one will trust them again - especially people who will own by then GHx and Sony A7R x cameras-.

Thanks for your answer SMGJohn. I understand that it is not a fact, but I would like to know if you could give your source for the "words". If its a rumor I am still interested in the source of the rumor is all.
