I have monitored this every day read every post and I have left it all running while Andrew has been away filming,
I think the forum handled it very well , we have all been lied to over a long period of time by the highest rated member on the forum ,
A crime has been comitted with a web of lies and forum member are victims of this crime.
ES has no loyalty to EOSHD or its members we are all pawns to his game , he didn't care who he scammed the money from.
I would ban him with out hesitation.  everyone scammed MUST be refunded asap.
An example must be shown we will not tolerate this on the forum we all love and contribute so much to.
ES fate lies in Andrew's hands its his forum.

At this point, how does anyone believe anything posted under that account? One would hope its a real confession, but with all the twists and turns it doesn't seem likely.

@veraguth, everyone's needs are different, I can cover most events with a 35/85 and a UWA, problem for me is in most cases I'm using FF for stills and s35 for video. So I'm carrying aps-c and FF lenses. I don't want to buy another A7rII + grip because Sony bodies lose their value so fast and the a6300 is not made for the hot Florida sun, making an all aps-c kit impossible. I don't shoot long continuous takes, so the 10 minute limit without the grip is no big deal, but the grip is almost always on my a7rII, that cost is a wash. New lens prices are a non issue for me, I buy all my lenses used and Fuji's can be found for about 25% below new easily.
Like I said, I shoot events with zooms, while the GM's are impressive, after dumping Canon I'm not going back to carrying that much weight for hours on end anymore. Again, this is my own thing, but I'm getting ready to take a year off to travel the globe with my wife, so a smaller kit with better JPEG options is appealing to me.
Looking forward to overheating tests and rolling shutter results.
    Cheers

I agree, Sony's lens development could be much better. The 55, 35 and 28 are great for the system. The good zooms are heavy and expensive. However, as I do not use zooms (the last one I bought came with my Chinon film camera), I use 35mm and 50mm equivalents for 95% of what I do, it makes easier for me to go with a Sony.
I bought my A7rii used (500 clicks) with a 3-month seller warranty for $2600. This is $670 more than a XT2 with the battery grip (which you need to shoot proper 4k). I bought my zeiss 55mm 1.8 for $700 (grey market, 1 year warrant), which is $100 more than a new fuji 35mm 1.4. Of course, I can buy a grey market fuji lens and wait a few months for a used XT2 and get the different back to the $1000 gap. However, I will not trade those $1000 plus film profiles for 42mp, unlimited video recording (with the open memories app), usable full frame 4k in some situations, and image stabilization on my prime. Besides, I found out that I can get beautiful jpegs straight out of the A7rii with some tweaking, and the grading of the video footage is not so bad as you are made to believe, perhaps the A7rii has better colors than the A7sii.
It would be wonderful if Fuji makes a video camera. Which sensor will they put on the camera though? I don't believe that Sony would allow Fuji to use its sensors in video cameras. But who knows...

The other problem - from a video perspective - is that few Fuji sponsored shooters do anything on the video side. A vast majority of their beta testers are pretty much exclusively still shooters. I think there'd be a good chance of a FW update unlocking Flog internal after people outside the narrow group of beta testers start beating that drum.
The Xt2 is certain to bring more video shooters into the Fuji camp, so there will be a shift in feedback.

It looks like he didn't have a ND filter and bumped up the SS to compensate for bright conditions, but I've never been overly critical of motion. Others may have more insight.
I've asked a few of the early testers to do a formal RS test and they've all had the same reply - they're waiting for a final video firmware update before posting more comprehensive video tests as Fuji is still tweaking things.
RS doesn't look a6300 bad panning at the long end of the 50-140 with a teleconverter in the screen cap below, but more formal tests are definitely needed. With the grip boosting processor power, it'll be interesting to see if its performance is better than the a6300.

The a7rII doesn't overheat at all, the a6300 does. Its also not FF, which is what the OP wants.
All of the aps-c E mount bodies are plagued by overheating, I speak from experience as I've owned all of them since the Nex5, doesn't matter what it costs if it keeps shutting down mid shot. It's a fine tourist type camera, but it's incredibly unreliable as a workhorse 4k body, the A7rII can shoot all day without issue. Used a7rII bodies are in the $2500 range.
I'd own two a6300's if they didn't constantly shut down when shooting 4k, but that's just not the case. Maybe the XT2 doesn't suffer from the same problems with overheating, if so I'll give it a look.
    Cheers

Fuji clearly states it on the XT2's news page:
"Footage in a Film Simulation mode can be further fine-tuned with “Highlight Tone,” “Shadow Tone,” “Color” and “Sharpness” adjustments."
    I think that's confirmation.

Owned the NX1, outside of the S zooms, the rest are mediocre, the pancakes are especially dreadful if you want to MF, no BB AF either - a basic staple of just about any decent camera including the most basic Canon Rebel from 2003. Fuji's lens selection is vastly superior - and its what attracts many shooters to the X-mount. Samsung's are a joke in comparison.
Nobody shopping Fuji cares about a dead system with a limited lens selection. Fuji's ergos, exposure controls on the body, the MF clutch mechanism and actual aperture rings are miles better than the NX1.
Let it go, its a Fuji discussion, nobody cares about your precious NX1.

Fuji's lenses are larger than m43 because they're covering a larger sensor, but certainly not expensive, the 16/1.4 is cheaper than the Panasonic 12/1.4, and the 56/1.2 is cheaper than the 42.5/1.2 and so on. Fuji has a few excellent pancakes and the 35/2 as well. The upcoming 23/2 will be another gem. Fuji holds regular sales which helps to keep used prices down.

I'd call the a7rII a "REAL" hybrid that already exists - IBIS, mic/headphone jack, great video, class leading stills/DR and something Panasonic really lacks... PADF.
It would be nice if Panasonic would dump everything into a pro oriented GH body including 10-bit internal and so on, but we've been saying that for years to no avail. Just like Sony and Canon, Panasonic wants you to buy a higher end camera.
IMO it'll get IBIS and a higher bitrate, but it'll still be the same old 8-bit 4:2:0 internal.
Panny should dump the goofy YAGH and do an external recorder with XLR inputs, they have all the tech in house and could easily build a unit that crushes Blackmagic's offerings. But again like Sony and Canon, there doesn't seem to be any interest (or High profit margins) in low volume products at consumer price points.

a7rII's AF is much better than the a7sII, the PADF array covers most of the sensor and it does a good job tracking subjects, face detection stays locked on for a high percentage of shots when the subjects face is visible, even at wide apertures. Lots of test videos show it effectiveness. S35 4k means you can use smaller APS-c lenses, the 16-50pz is a great small option.
Olympus or the GX85 are your only other IBIS options.

Geez, talk about hyperbole. 5d3 is four years old and still a top seller. 4k is a niche market and a spec sheet highlight. Wedding and event shooters are waiting to jump on the 5d4. It's going to be huge.
Even if people on this board moan about these things, the vast majority of the camera buying world doesn't care.
Lots of TV, film and events are shot with Canon's "mushy 1080p" as some put it. We still live in a HD world.
