Yeah...im really not interested in Hearing about the NX1 in this thread :\ I cant wait to see what people do with it. its undeniable the Fuji bodies produce some incredible still images if the video quality holds the same potential its a dream camera in my book

Although I have never used any blackmagic camera the images I see from them are stunning. 4k may not be one of your needs so blackmagic will be an even better deal. I have an nx1 and I love the images I get out of it especially since the hack. It may look a bit too sharp & digital for some but to each his own. I shot this on a hacked nx1 @ 200mbps

@NX1user big difference ! This is the reason why I am excited for this FILMCONVERT update. I've seen it in my GH4,A7S & rx10ii the conversion even makes sony slog look amazing

Funny thing is this guy that knew so much info about cameras etc. had no work or production credits we could find on the internet "owned" a bunch of high end bodies but was a radiology doc making non existent films with his 19 year old grandson ? I knew the guy was bullshit but admittedly he was so convincing I dont think anyone ever fact checked the things he said. now im watching him dance around the idea of refunding this guy his money with all these sob stories and what not. You think his statements would stand up in court ? I dont need any more info to know this is a scam and please keep in mind this has probably been going on with multiple people for years.

Its probably a whole team of them using one account. Its rarely one or two guys doing this...

False. There are way more factors than that which dictate the quality of the image output. Sensor size in this day & age aint one of em

to each his own. I wanted to like it especially since I paid for it but it just never performed for me as well as premiere did. I felt like they tried to force the apple streamlined experience into it and didn't do a good job especially with it being so slow in comparison on my MacBook pro. Regardless of which its an NLE and some people have created magic with it, it just aint for me....at all.

Thank you @NX1user ! In my experience the bitrate hack isn't doing anything magical like increasing the quality of the image beyond what we are used to with the NX1. What it does is ups the bitrate to give you better motion cadence (especially at slower shutter speeds where it becomes hard for a compressed codec to predict motion),it eliminates macroblocking in the underexposed areas which become exaggerated when using LUT's & grading.I've shot scenes stopped down with a stock nx1 of water fountains and watch the image totally break apart and become unusable. Not the case with the hack. I use bitrates from 160-180 and it does make a difference but I doubt you would see the difference in locked down shots. I still expose for my subject and prepare to kiss highlights goodbye but I still walk away with a pleasing image @iamoui @Kurtisso in camera sharpening was at -10 and I increased sharpness in post with adobe premiere lumetri +15

Exactly ! If they are making their big entrance into video the last thing they need is people blaming their flog on a codec that cant handle it
