  1.  Hi Guys i am selling my sankor 16c anamorphic lens (Serial 50310) with a 50mm clamp that fits on 50mm lens and front lens cover. This lens is in awesome shape inside and out side no scratch on the glass there is absolutely no fungus. Only scratch i see is on the outside part of the lens where it was being mounted on the back of the lens metal part. Reason i am selling this lens is because i got my self one of those big projection lenses which i like and i really Don't need sankor   Ebay link to images http://www.ebay.ca/itm/290942490699?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  or contact me here   300

    Diopter

oh man why because it was 3 am and the kids wore up ;)   Ok to be more clear here what i would like to achieve with diopter is close up of the face since my lens gets blurry not to much when i am shooting a close up of a person or object. But i have that big 5 kg lens and i am not sure what i need here or if they make diopters as big as font of my lens. i am in the process of shooting a Science fiction film short film so i am building my anamorphic rig    So basically i need a diopter for close up but which one? and what number or how meany   And last question Variable ND Filter is it recommended to have diopter and nd filter together?   thanks man

    Diopter

Hi guys i got my self Bausch and Lomb Anamorphic lens which as you know it is big lens i love this lens it is sharp sharper then my sankor 16c my question is close up diopters. I am new to them and i have no idea what to get .4 .5 +1 and if they make them as big as front of my lens. I am not looking for anything expensive something in 50 to 100 dollar range and how do they work as in numbers and how many do i need? i was reading on the anamorphic forum The Diopter Thread but i could not get all the answers   Thanks
  5. i have the same lens as this one found it on ebay for 50 dollars and to be honest here this is dam sharp lens better then my sankor 16c which i will be selling. I dont know Andy at personaly  but if you have the money and dont mind a heavy lens i would get it.
  6. I thought those lenses are supose to be sharp? dont get me wrong i like the look but to me looks soft and not sharp at all compare to other like sankor must be the fd lens you are using. I just got me self one of those big lenses i belive its Bell and howell anamorphic and its sharper then sankor. And i can use 35mm and up with no vigneting at all but its a bitch being 5lbs   Can you post some videos of ef or any new recent lens.   Thanks Great work
  7. so when you guys say 66mm or 85mm you mean prime lens not zoom lens non of that 55-250 crap
  8. so to get this right guys helios 44 and Jupiter-9 should do the trick but i would need a adapter to use them on my 60d. So 60mm and up should be ok without vignetting? I also have lens canon 55-250 ef. Why do people use fd lenses with sankor is there anything wrong with canon ef lenses 60mm and up, i mean for those two lens i will need a clamp to use them on 60d?   thanks guys
  9. thanks guys canon 60d
  10. Hi guys i got my self sankor 16c with 52mm clamp. I also have canon 50 1.8mm lens which has vignetting. Now what is the best way to avoid vignetting with sankor? i seen some videos with 50mm fd 1.4 canon lens and it looks like vignetting is gone are fd lenses preferred with sankor?. My last question i got this lens for panorama video shooting what lens would be good here with sankor with no vignetting.   Thanks

    Dam you ANAMORPHIC

There is no attitude on my part, and its up to you to answer questions on this forum you don't have to if you don't want to. But when newbies such as my self ask for help we don't need advertising to a book as the answer. And don't we all like to get staff for cheap? that why we have eBay Craigslist Kijiji

i will be using my sankro 16c with 60d i will pick my sankor tomorrow and it come with clamp 52 mm ring does this clamp mean that i can use any lens 52 mm and up? how do you like your kowa? There is Kowa Prominar 16-S on ebay for 425 thinking if i should get kowa.   There is also Schneider Kreuznach Cinemascope Anamorphic Lens small and portable made in 2000 or close to that suppose to be the sharpest lens and it goes nicely with ef lens. I believe short film red walker was shoot on it and it looks sharp dam sharp but to HD. How come pople are not jumping on jumping to buy such sharp lens
  14. EOSHD anamorphic guide is just to learn basic it wont save you money because it tell you not to use projection lens but to buy more expensive type 500 3000 dollars. You should start with nice isco projection lens. There are tons of example videos on you tube of almost any projection lens find one on ebay watch video and decide and come here and ask questions and read read read

    Dam you ANAMORPHIC

i thought one comes to the forum to get  answers not to get advertisement to buy staff- EOSHD anamorphic guide which i did but it did not answer my questions except to tell  me to buy expensive lens and stay away from projection lens where in reality some of the projection lenses are dam good and are in good price range. But what ever ;)

Ok so i got my self sankor 16c with clamp for 300. At what point does sankor vignette and do i need diopter wit this lens for some close up or shoots?   Thanks

    Dam you ANAMORPHIC

Thanks guys for reply richg101 when you say iscorama do you mean isco for short and is there specific one one you would chose of ebay? because there are so many to chose from  like SCO ULTRA STAR 2X CINEMASCOPE ANAMORPHIC ANAMORPHOT, Isco 2x Anamorphic Lens. Then some ISCO Ultra Star Plus 60mm. Or do you just buy any isco regardless of color because there are some with gold and blue ring. What do you think about Kowa Prominar 16-S   Thanks
  18. Ok over past few weeks i have spend countless hours researching and looking at videos of those anamorphic projection lenses like isco, sankor 16 c h b, different colors gold black some going for 20 dollars to 1000. On some of the lenses video is questionable. I seen 50 dollar lens beat 500 dollar in looks ,color and fell. Some people on eBay are asking for 500 1000 for isco gold ones for a lens where examples of video looks all like crap after crap and when you contact a seller and ask for a video examples they tell you to Google name of the lens, and after you find a examples you find out that that video was shoot with 30 year old lens  because there are like over 50 different iscos and Schneider. Then if you get a lens you will need to spend more money just for diopters and support rig i know i am renting but is it really worth it buying one?   Thanks guys
  19. What i did i got my self isco on ebay for 50 big ass lens and experiment it is much fun and pain but mostly fun. There no clear answer
  20.
