Paulio so would you recommend RGB over REC 709 for web delivery. And what is you brightens for your monitor set to i find dell pro monitors to be way to bright even at 50% My is down to 30%.   Thanks sorry to hijack the post   anax276 i got U2410 for 400 and it is awesome monitor i am not big in to 27 size i have second Lg 24 and it works good just calibrate the monitor with i1 display pro it makes all the difference. Ans u2410 comes calibrated out of the box but over time that will shift.   Thanks guys

When it comes to 50d and raw for how long can you shoot for? and at what resolution what would be the difference between mar 3 and 50d raw i am thinking of buying 1 or the other

Hi guys enny here just got me some of close up diopters from a fellow on this forum nice guy. I shoot some test and some CC in post can you tell me what you think close up are at the end. And don't mind the cheesy epic music. And security guard at the construction site ask me what i am doing, i told him i work for the city testing for radiation with my big ass lens and he actually believed me and left me alone to walk around. Hi guys   is it possible or recommended to cut like 3 inches of the back of the lens where there is more space for taking lens to fit i remember seeing somewhere on the web where some guy did this and he was able to fit 35 mm lens with no vignetting.   Any thoughts   Thanks

This place is super awesome and member. Before i come here i did not know anything but now this forum say i am advance member ;). I have also bought/sold few items from members here and never head no problems as long as you are honest and not screw people over like that lens ebay guy. BAUSCH & LOMB is good lens with good quality if you don't mind the weight and size and its cheap

As people say here get you money back and if you want a big lens here is one same as my. Will it work sure it will but since mk2 is full frame you will get vignetting and i believe lens you bought might not be Iscorama i just read some where here on forum that this lens is not Iscorama. 499 uh oh i think this lens is same as my bausch and lomb anamorphic in weight and size. I wanted to get one you have at be begging but went with bausch and lomb for 50 dollars and quality is super awesome. But you know what if you like it like i like my that what matters. And best way to find out if ti will work just experiment when you get it.            

same here i used industrial super glue called hot staff and gluse 86mm ring and it works like a charm i have 86mm nd filter on it

for 1700 each i will stick with my 50 dollars lens ad with 1700 goon a vacation

Hi guys here is my DIY rig that cost me 100 with bausch and lomb anamorphic lens and cage except 60d and helios 44-2. It looks crude but it works awesome. In front of the lens i have used industrial super glues to glue 95-86 step down ring i have some close up filters 86mm coming. I can hold it with one hand and focus with another it is heavy bit but working since i work in construction and eat my spinach its nothing to me :)   Some screen grabs below taken with the rig no color correction used technicolor cine style profile for 60d so not much color only at the end with mowing train  and it was morning fog. I think the lens is sharp i really like it. Hi guys what is your opinion on monitor calibration? I have i1Pro X-Rite celebration and dell u2410. Xrite can calibrate to REC 709 for video is there any use to calibrate to REC 709 for video editing for web or just use SRGB. They claim that xrite will get you monitor calibrated for color correction for video how close does it get to CC?. Is there even point to use this tool for video or can you use it for pro work for video   Thanks

I come across article that say that old lenses from 50s to 80s can be radioactive. Got me wondering if our anaorphic lenses are in the same boat since most of them are old i think my was build in 70 bausch and lomb. Radioation is in the glass of the lens  (In case you didn’t know, some camera manufactures from decades ago chose to use the radioactive elements lanthanum and thorium in their camera lenses (and sometimes viewfinders) in order to increase the glass’ index of refraction.)   I was wondering if we will turn in to hulk after using it for long time But they say that there is relly no danger (This puts the “6hrs/day for a month” usage at about the same as getting a chest X-ray [...] Or to put it another way, using the lens six hours a day for a year would be the same as taking three round-trip flights from one US coast to the other in that year. Not completely trivial, but not something people normally stress about. Hi guys enny here question looking to purchase a lens that can single focus not dual focusing on both lenses any ideas on 500 price range or am i wishing

I tried couple of anamorphic lenses last one was sankot 16c and i was not happy with the quality at all and i could only use 65mm or 70mm and up and up with no vignetting. I come across  Baush & lomb big lens got it on dslr cage and it works awesome and the quality is Fing sharp i will be soon getting some close up filters 86mm from  a fellow here  that i will attache to 95-86 step down ring.   Is it hard to hard to handle big lens? yes and no, depends if you are serious about your craft. Me personally i don't care i am going for the quality of the image and just today i was shooting outside and people wore like what is that? Me personally i don't want to be spending over 1000-2000 dollars on soothing that i wont make me money   And with my lens i been using hellios44-2 and canon 50mm 1.4 lens with no vignetting its pain to handle some time but its worth it
