  1. VR whether 360 or 180 just means a whole new realm for traditional media and content too with lots of goodies to bring and explore we can't ignore at all as tools they can assume to be and by misfortune people invariably here tend to forget and/or pass by. - EAG :- )
  2. Man, thanks for your posts on these three option routes (before along with GoPro 11 / FX30) I sincere praise as best ones out there : ) Much appreciated for your tests (now on VR180 potential side WOW) I also guess match your shooting style. This RAW sample then says a lot from it how brings some real upgrade, not only specs on the paper : ) PS: I am just a bit stuck on EF lenses because of the revolutionary new Panny AF offer now to pair IBIS and all the usual goodies coming from them, we'll need to couple both I'm afraid LOL ;- )
  3. People are eager this announcement for too long already, I guess. Seems a winner and irresistible too... to my eyes. - EAG :- ) PS: Many people have wondered myself straight on private. Hope my link to here to this EOSHD thread and the videos you've posted may clear up current and further doubts ; )
  4. *DIS (EIS whatever) While walking, no miracles, gimbal instead.
  5. Impressive to say the least : ) You've used anamorphics right? ; ) Do you upsample it once when desqueezed from anamorphic acquistion to the timeline or export?
  6. What ISO values? BTW does 4K 120fps offer audio recording included @200 Mbps too?
  7. Here you have a fair comparison and where one and the other one can sing, respectively:
  8. Do you remember the ISOs used on the slowmo shots (4K 120fps right?) for the minutes 00:03, 00:07, 00:30, 02:00, 02:26, 03:28, 03:46 (with artifacts more visible in the dark areas after 00:36, 02:08, 02:30, 03:32, 03:57)?
  9. In any case, it is natural the shooter had often used a very high set of ISO values which will naturally increase noise artifacts more visible in the dark areas such as those blacks and blues. Not apples to oranges. That's the only way to compare tools.
  10. On 00:14 I don't notice anything but on the rest, yes, you're right although that looks like to me the introduction of compression artifacts, not necessarily coming from the native files : ) You're watching processed pictures, not the original acquisition. Anything adultered is nothing about the ones SOOC. You can only have an accurate idea when you face that stuff the camera directly produced, shot by the device without any further processing or you can fairly infer that's noise introduced later on.
  11. Maybe compression or your display? I don't see anything wrong on mine even @ 1080p resolution other than the beauty of the footage, well shot and a bit pleasant grainy : ) What exactly have you found? Can you post some grabs as samples about what bothers you actually?
  12. Posted a reply to your quote on this dedicated thread open to discuss how to go steady and alike stuff:
  13. Coming from the R5C thread: I believe 8K 50/60p is much more forgivable when comes to the use of slowmo @ high resolution... vs What do you think?
  14. WOW What a short film, pal, this is much more than a clip... Come to my mind Artavazd Peleshyan, one of the greatest... Thanks for sharing, very worthy, this couple acted for you, both, WTH of a performance : ) One of the most beautiful things of the kind I've seen, such a thrill, pure cinema, simple but a true Epiphany made by pictures, the movement is absolutely competent, asked for... this is a cameraman! Not easy task at all... Framing brought to you some challenges you had to decide atm without losing the hand and before you could lose the shot, hats off! EAG :- )
  15. Lovely use : ) OIS too, I guess? And no bean bag this time :- )
  16. Is EIS absent of 8K 50/60p I guess because it's RAW? But not on 4K 100/120fps, correct?
  17. This is the kind of information which matters to post into this thread on topic here: The different methods to achieve stabilized outcome fairly vary and there's no jack-of-all-trades in fact.
  18. @kaylee Great installation art WOW Where have you found it? Loved the shot with the dog too, as usual everything coming from you as the artist you are, kudos to you! EAG :- )
  19. Indeed! : D You've succeeded once again as usual, at least along this season when you're used to post it! Your touch... : ) But la periodista is for real, not part of the squad! ; ) Muy bien! Merry Christmas to you, @kaylee and all of you too! @Andrew Reid he should already know where our thoughts and prayers are! :- )
