4K120p crop from a previous crop per se from FF by itself placed me out of the FX30 deal : ) Hard now when looks like is able to handle about 50 minutes of 4K50p, let's see what happens then ; ) People are getting FF on Sony side (a7R) for 400 bucks some used units, seems crazy to keep it (so) simple :- )

Interesting thread as usual ; ) P4K when not P6K (as used in some major work already posted along these boards) GX85 which replaced a few G7 bodies still ready to work (better to not ask for the rest of the collection! LOL) Canon M (ML RAW obviously) Osmo Pocket 2 Insta360 One X2 OnePlus 9 Pro as real pocket one : D R5C to come soon maybe (and most probably) ZV-E1 because I don't see any better travel cam these days Cerise on top: GoPro 11 or perhaps 12 from September on, as ultimate upgrade of that couple of units (version 10 already sold) for 3D stereo acquisition...

To my view this is a hell of a new tool from what they promise to deliver. Looks like AI is coming to stay also for these capture devices. That one-(wo)man-show Morocco footage stands such point, you can mark it oh boy, once it's not easy to find a better travel FF camera, let's not forget, in the least. http://thenewcamera.com/sony-zv-e1-vs-sony-fx30/ https://mirrorlesscomparison.com/sony-vs-sony/zv-e1-vs-a7s-iii/

We're adopting it very likely...

Right, 60p gives good cinematic outcome, when slowmo comes to the equation... : D But wait, is it supposed YT to be or look cine-like? As designed for small screen form factor such as mobile phones and alike?!
-
All looks fine but 4K 120fps crop pops terrible under low light, that's my beef with and bet on R5C instead : ) Hence I didn't pull the trigger...

@Kisaha@92F Sarah Jeanette Connor was sane after all ;- )

I am curious now, thanks for the tip @Chxfgb : ) Can you link it where this has been written?

I have a couple of units of the Zenfone 7 Pro but never tried. If it is the developer to label it himself as bad, what can we users add in behalf of the discussion? ; ) For sure a Fujifilm is a better bet than anything else on mobile phone side as of March of 2023... Apples to oranges :- )

I'm afraid not, but give OnePlus 9 Pro a try ;- )

Almost twenty years ago or not so far, this level of footage coming from so tiny form factor (body-worn, go figure!) capture devices would put all of us on the edge of the most legit excitement through these or some other boards, this is the pure and straightforward truth... Why not today anymore? Or people now are merely obsessed in-between latitude and the whole subjective mantra on organicity of the outcome? Read it as cinematic structure of the elements to frame, among them the infamous skin tones palette to celebrate this art and craft as the most human synthetic medium. And then? People tend to forget filmmaking is not reality in the same proportion they/we all seek the organic Holy Grail, it's all about something anyhow undeclared fake. That's it. It is what it is. - EAG

Not only Panny, not only as far as stills realm concerns once some camera models from other manufacturers such as R5C for hybrid use as for instance too ; ) Let alone smaller sensor size factor capture devices to only mention something else : P

Man, despite the customary tekkie yadda yadda variably welcome BTW, you're the NY street videographer of these boards... let alone the only one posting such stuff over us, my kudos to you as usual! Keep your finest example up! :- )

Ah that...? I guess Andrew is right when writes "Canon quietly removes fake overheating limits..." In my homeland we're used to say the first impression stands, no matter what comes later. I think that's pretty accurate. Pity nobody told Canon about that ; ) For sure, unbeatable to my book :- )
-
I also much prefer Canon babies to call it the least but "now that the overheat is fixed"??
-
True. The proof is in the pudding. These devices were not made for this yet, anyway. Go figure how to extract all that amount of data from, as for instance only to begin with :- )
-
For sure, horses for courses ; ) We're discussing 8K acquisition now though, not exactly this kind of devices as replacement of whatever else :- )
-
The waste of time is the way these mobile devices process their outcome, let alone the performance to come from such tiny acquisition surface to not mention their pixels. But that's a different story...
-
Both sides have a point. The trouble is when we think otherwise. - EAG :- ) PS: That said, in the world of media convergence BTW, go and use a grab in a large format printer and you'll easily figure out why 8K is not meaningless.
-
It is what it is. R5C stands and fits the bill.
-
...which proves 4K 120fps works as casual street photography tool. It would be interesting to see more contrasty outcome, B&W as for instance from same frame rate acquisition.

Don't bore too much, send it to me ; ) Jokes aside, any one of those will bring you fun back :- ) This one produced here by us was shot with the help of a P6K: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Xtx-0fkv_dff2IkS_8tR9sxdTDjMgOsB
