Well, my good fellows of boards, you Dennis and Don can be considered like that, I truly expect from you a much open mind here anyway. Internet -- more often than we would really like, shows up a world where people from their sofas rule the most wild fantasies outside. So, this tends to frequently happen. The problem. No solution? I understand we all have our frustrations where negativism easily arises, but... Serious and proud people, the category where I behave in order to invariably include myself to also be able to address these words now, are worthy of a different treatment. As user, I found a gap. As active player, I've intended to fill my cup. I entered then in touch with some contacts I have and arrived here. Just about TWO WEEKS ago I announced that in order to share with this community a solution for our common need. Or you two, do you have any other suggestion to present to us? ; ) As user, I am all ears. For this reason I started this thread. People have been kind enough reaching me and asking for updates on topic. I could restrict them to private mode or once it is something of valuable for this community to share with you all, without exception. The thin long line to separate private and public domains. Without mention when people pop up in this thread to quote me to fairly wondering themselves on further developments. BTW allow me a very straightforward question to you @deezid once the same would awkwardly be addressed to you Don, I guess: how many weeks you need to put your lovely stuff just fine out there, Dennis? Thank you all for your enthusiasm, you two too, but pessimism is not always a wonderful way to be realistic, it doesn't work all the time for every kind of fellas... To those interested and have been many out there, I've received an update from the manufacturer with whom I've been in touch with these days. We will be unable to proceed during the current Chinese New Year celebration. They will be back to work in the end of their holiday. Hope to have news by then. I always try to avoid to judge without clue what I'm saying or thinking about. Life is a box of surprises. Mainstream variably ends like you mention now. We need some self-criticism, a bit of trial-n-error method and lots of goodwill to arrive somewhere. And to be ready for everything in order to accept the limitations of our own outcome when hits the fan. Perfect world only at the big screen's happy endings ; -)

I am not the manufacturer. I am just a player. I started this thread with an idea in mind. To select one from the usual suspects for the projects I participate either as shooter or 'only' as producer. I realized then there was a gap to fulfill. There's no a suitable gimbal for this camera. I've entered in touch with manufacturers through channels I already have from b2b field, consulting realm and b2c e-commerce sectors where I have a share in a few partnerships. I've spent my own time to help some other people from manufacturing area to find answers to directly satisfy this market. Business has rules to succeed being secrecy one of them in order to protect my own time and work before all business details will be settled. Hope this entry of mine may enlighten any doubts. It CAN be cleaner, it is not necessarily clean if you need, want or look for something else... You can have 1 million if you'll have a 10-million account. The opposite is harder to achieve on the other hand ; -)

Still waiting for listening the other ML EOS M shooters... Thanks for your input. One of the more interesting modes looks like the 1x3 binning 2.35:1 1504x1920. How's the situation there as far as 'framing conditions' (funny to use the expression : D) concerns? The other mode is the one used by @ZEEK, but he's here and hasn't added anything on topic... To be able to have half of the frame between left and right limits (with the upper half of the frame at least) can result in a workaround. That is, if we get used to it. Especially if we consider the price to pay ending as highest as possible resolution where we may raise and park the bar. Stretched vertically for binning modes doesn't sound so bad under the circumstances in the end. To be able of an accurate framing preview even pixelated (a trouble for focusing but we can alternate and mix both preview routes or no?) before start shooting can be a workaround for static shots, we can just fairly guess. Or where you have to put the framing borders inside (y)our head. Does AF work at least? And what about HDMI for external monitoring?

This ML tool reminds me when 35mm film, not only IQ and grain. Priceless. One of a kind, today. Also how to properly shoot with. Where any camera movement had to be previously planned in order to not waste film/lab fees/money. Pardon my lack of modesty now if so but, obviously, people only used to shoot video actually have no idea what does mean. - E : -)

RS will always be critical for those who use their camera as a kite. Not a big issue to me. Pinkframes instead, yes, so I wonder how often they pop up? How to workaround and have them under control?

Nothing against static shots... : ) As matter of fact, as purist, bothers me unmotivated camera movement to be rather straightforward here. I can't avoid to often add frequent rolleyes with the most part of footage seen today. It is what it is though : -) What about those pinkframes? Is the usable percentage of footage so bad going with high resolution pixel binning? I'd like to hear a stable setup resolution for. From your side, EOS M ML users.
