It is not as soft as the light dome, but size is its biggest adventage when u shoot on location as sometimes there is just not enough space for light dome. But if you mainly shoot on studio then light dome is definitely better in terms of full softness

A 15MP Sony Mirrorless Camera will be Announced Soon

you should really start your own sony rumor site -
After using ok lighting (672C and couple 500LED lights) for a few years I decided to step up lighting kit this year, first to the flexible lights like Falconeye RX18-TD and finally settled on Aputure C120D II, and result is quite a dramatic different, I think for the first time we got client ask us what "filters" we use so the photog's photo can have similar colour as our video lol (and that was just a quick grade in Premiere). I really wish i had done this lighting kit upgrade sooner. Definitely will make some of the videos we did much better ugh. Light with Falconeye RX18TD: notice the subject is underexposed and background still overexposed, and the light gives a bit of magenta shift. Lighting with Aputure C120D II on dome mini II, subject is well light and background is well exposed, skintone is pretty good with no colour shift. Client asking what "filter" we use. Light setup for the day.

You need $200 code which some people have gotten the email from B&H, you can also use their live support for the code I think -

M6 II 5.1K RAW Video (does 3.5s with DPAF in raw burst mode), way sharper than 4K video. Good to have if you need that absolute DR/max sharpness.

Btw has anyone used delut clog3 on m6ii? I wonder how it performs vs andrew's clog ?

So far the benchmark result is impressive, with that many core will 8K realtime editing be possible? Or is bottleneck lie somewhere else?

We upgrade our pc from i7-4770 with GTX1070 to i7-9700K with RTX2070 this year, some rendering is like 4X faster (a 2hr video usually took 2hr export on old pc, on new pc is less than 30min), 5.7K 360 can playback realtime without lag which is impossible on older pc, and editing multistream 4K50P with LUT is piece of cake while on older pc 1 stream of 4K50P already killing it. 4 core is definitely the bottleneck, even some stuff our 8core i7 pushed to the limit too, a Ryzen 9 will definite be better or the i9 ?

Wonder do they use the dpaf tech from canon.. Will be a killer combo to pair with my R for sure.

Yeap, hence blackmagic dropping compressed cdng format on their camera because of RED patent issue, and why sigma only use uncompressed raw. Only Canon can do it since they have license agreement with Red. (1DX3 have compressed raw video and RED using RF mount on their next camera) Which also means Canon is probably the only one can put compressed raw video on their mirrorless camera.. all other manufacturers are blocked by Red patent.

Cool so it works on video? That is good to know! Regarding bokeh, I found that fast lens tend to produce better bokeh than smaller aperture if they are at same aperture, and of course there is 1.5x vs 1.6x crop which also contribute a bit.

G9's IBIS is still the best from Panasonic, I am really curious about the record limit after the update.

Will be interested to see your findings

Ditto, I bought ipod touch specifically for drones only. There are some stuff just works on Apple iOS. Same for that 5g wireless transmitter monitor too, iOS just work better with lower latency. Even though i jumped from ip7+ to s10 as i prefer Android myself.

Only have link for the news atm, pretty sure the smaller battery should be available for purchase in the future. https://amp.abacusnews.com/tech/djis-lightest-mavic-mini-isnt-available-everywhere/article/3035859

Btw mavic mini in japan is only 199g to avoid the local registration law there by using smaller battery (18 min flight time)

Gonna stick to my air, pretty happy with the size and feature.

I think I should really thank Harvey Wolfenstein and Kevin Spacey for their wonderful films, without them the cinema world is definitely less interesting. Thanks to RED to keep us stuck with H.264! I am really thankful!
