  1. I was really hoping you can adjust a baked in lut within the camera like add contrast or adjust whites and blacks on the fly with a baked in LUT. That would speed up the workflow instead of going through processing every time. But it looks like cameras still can't do postprocessing that's why smartphones have that advantage. Regarding GH5/s vs P4K, thank you for your explanation, they're definitely different cameras for different situations.
  2. Also building a PC right now I think your bottleneck could be your hard drive. You should be editing on an SSD or an NVME internal drive. Anyway here's a link sent to me that helped me with my initial build: http://www.thesagery.com/builds/ what's great with PCs is that you can upgrade your parts bit by bit to see which one will improve your workflow
  3. How's the GH5/GH5s now that you compared the P4K to them?
  4. Yeah I also thought with the release of the P6K, there will be a better inventory for P4K. But it seems that the P6k is better stocked than the P4K.

    Girls on film

I laughed when the iso began appearing for some reason
  6. Or shoulder mount? Honestly I dont think I want to use an EasyRig without an assistant or a production crew around me. Maybe it's just me because I'm not a pro, but it looks like a movie prop
  7. But I think BM says it's their own prototype though
  8. Got a used G80 for 500usd and the OG BMPCC is under 500usd nowadays so no
  9. Agree here. Reviews for the G95 aren't great since the G85 is still a good buy Same for the A6400? For lenses, I think the PanaLeica 12mm f1.4. I can't see why a wide angle lens should be so expensive, and you won't use it a 1.4 that much. Panasonic 10-25mm f1.7, I want to say is also not worth the price tag, just because I can't afford it. For lights - Digital Sputnik voyager - expensive RGB lights that dont output much power
  10. Recently sold on ebay for 350usd
  11. Whew that lens is more expensive than a GH5. I hope it's worth the price
  12. I think the ND filter had a significant effect
  13. You can use something like a Quasar RGB. It has prebuilt effects like a fire effect - .
  14. I think it's a BM micro cinema camera? Nice rig. What handle is that? Is that compatible with the new P4K and Panasonic cams?
  15. Personally, if I'm going to purchase a new camera and I had the budget, I'll go with the Pocket 6K. But I have invested in MFT lenses and they still serve me well. I have seen a side by side comparison of shots with the P4K and P6K and the P6K is def better. But if you remove the comparisons, no one's going to complain that you shot with a P4K, or Sony (unless they see the jello rolling shutter), as long as what's shown provides value to viewers. But I'm still dreaming of owning a P6K
  16. You put both Zooms and lavs on bride and groom?
  17. Is a laptop with a higher price worth it? I have a laptop and considered ugrading but now I think building an editing desktop is a better choice.
  18. Yes and yup it depends on the airport. I usually visit Australia, and when I leave Aus I have to remove the camera pouch and my laptop and put them on a separate tray for inspection. That's my experience with the Melbourne airport. Good thing my bag's camera pouch is easy to pull out and zipper up and put it on a tray with the laptop. But yeah it's such a hassle especially when you're past security and have to go back to remove your gadgets and wait for it again to go through the scanners
  19. I'm using a Wandrd prvke as a backpack and airplanes allow it as hand carry. Depending on the number of camera equipment you need but I frequently use that bag on my plane travels because you can easily remove the camera pouch and laptop, then put it on a container for separate inspection.
  20. Thanks for the info! I tried OneDrive before but the upload speeds were horrible. Been looking at Synology but it's still out of my current budget.
  21. How much do you pay for your online storage? S3 I assume is AWS?
  22. The test footages actually look great on the P6K but it's not something that you can't reproduce on the P4K. But yeah the shakiness is kinda distracting if the shots are just people walking or stationary buildings
  23. Basically, you have to be pretty well-known or have the right contacts: https://www.scriptreaderpro.com/how-to-pitch-a-tv-show/
  24. Thanks. Too bad battery life still sucks but footages look great
