  1. Agree about G95 and Canon. I would also add Olympus Em1X and Sony A6600.
  2. I am a spoiled kid. I want all the stuff - best IBIS in the world, best AF, Braw, 4k120, build in ND and etc in a resonably compact body. Cos all of this makes my filmmaking easier and thus I have more desire to do it. I am enjoing the process instead of worring about all of other things. Its like living in an awfull uncomfortable flat and bragging about it. I prefer to live in a comfortable flat and enjoy my life. So if you have the money - go for a better camera, nothing wrong with that.
  3. Well without much more improved autofocus I am not going to switch to GH6 anyway. So they need to fix it at all cost. With tof sensor or without I dont care. Looking at Olympus EM mk2 last firmware we can clearly see that a working pdaf on m43 is perfectly possible.
  4. An interesting interview overall. At 33 minutes the question about Organic Sensor is asked. And they guy frankly answers that no, we are not going to get it in any sort of consumer camera soon. So Sony again. Or maybe Samsung if we are in luck. He also explains about why GH5s didnt have IBIS - they could not fit it, only for that reason.
  5. The only downside is ofc that is centered single point AF with no tracking of any sort. Damn, the whole scenario where users built those kind of devices on their own says that is relatively easy do built. So why BM or Panasonic didn't do it before is a mystery. I hope they will do it in the future.
  6. Seems right. Damn, I want this. I was going to get MOZA Aircross 2 pro kit with their follow focus, but now I am thinking to go Nucleus Nano instead. Do they have any website or some way of communication?
  7. Looks legit. Very smooth and responsive. Do they have plans for Panasonic version?
  8. In recent rumors on a popular site you can hear that the camera which will be announced in September is A9II. S7S2 is already 4 years old. So.. I guess that leaves some nice opportunities for Panasonic, Fuji and Blackmagic. S1H is already out and seems like will be without any competition for a while.. and GH6 is around the corner (at least lets hope so). Something tells me that Sony is obsessed with idea of keeping its camera body same size and weight as the rest of A7 lineup which makes producing a proper A7S3 a challenge.
  9. I have not received mine yet but judging from their description on ali it says that it is light leak free. Will give you some feedback as soon as mine arrives . No magnets in this clone version but maybe it still works with some other mechanics.
  10. While we are waiting and dreaming I am solving some issuses for now by myself - bought several NDs for each lens plus rapid filter system for them. You can get the latter on Ali for 15$
  11. Well I was hoping for the infamous Organic sensor from Panasonic. I dont really care for 8k at all. I need more DR, built-in ND and perfect AF which oragnic sensor promised to provide. So I still have some hopes for it..
  12. SLR Magic 8mm seems like a nice cheap alternative to Laowa, might try it
  13. Tokina 11-20 2.8 which becomes 7.5-14 2.0 with a booster. Thinking of getting it myself instead of laowa. If laowa was in 300$ price range I would probably get it. For under 200£ there arent many options. Probably used adapted stuff mostly.
  14. Never did and never going too. I have GH5 so I am comparing to what I actually use. Plus I like to use a gimbal once in a while and extra weight there feels very uncomfrotable. So for me persoanlly S1H seems like not the best fit considering my inclination toward traveling and run and gun beeing very heavy and also expensive. Waiting for GH6\AS73 announcements.
  15. There is one thing I dislike about S1H - its weight. Which is 1160 grams. 24-70 2.8 Panasonic lens is 935 grams.. so only with those 2 together we are looking at 2.2 Kilo ? And if you add cage, external montor.. an etc, this setup becomes really heavy and bulky. Even Sigma 18-35 + speedboster + Gh5 is around 1.6 kg Sony A73 + Tamron 28-75 - 1.2 kg
  16. Really shitty updates from Sony. Feels like they didnt want to put any effort and R&D money into it but they wanted to keep their piece of the pie buy introducing small incrimental upgrades.
  17. I dont see a point in any sort of censorship. That is actually one of the reasons why I liked it here so much before, is that I could speak freely on all topics. And use 4-letter words ?
  18. The good news is that they sort of fixed VFR and now you can record sound and have AF. Hurray! I wonder if it will be ported to GH5? I think not. Not that it not possible, but they just wont do it. But we can assume to have it in GH6 than at least.
  19. Personally I felt like this review was overhiped. It goes only about strong points of this camera. I think you defenitly should wait for Sony A7S3 before passing the judjment that there is no competition for Panasonic in this area. It is. A7S3 is the competitor. Lets wait for it and see who wins. Besides flawless AF and probably some new tech sensor, Sony has one key advantage - its lenses. Oh those sweet Tamron zooms..
  20. I guess it was overhyped. I dont see a point of getting one with such a shitty AF. Sigma is a bit heavier, gives better and stronger bokeh, better AF for video (!) and costs 500 $ used vs 2000 euro for this one (or 1800$ for lucky chaps in US). The price\efficiency ratio just doesnt cut it. Useless lens. Ok, used sigma + Viltrox adapter = 700$ ~ 1 kilo But Sony FE Tamron 28-75 2.8 = 800$ and it gives better range, perfect AFC and weights TWICE less (550grams) then Sigma+booster combo. Year I know it Sony, but in terms of weights, price and specs it is very comparible if not favorable to Panasonic options And Pana 10-27 - 1800-2000$ with its 700 grams in the middle. Mehh Now I have even more reasons to switch to Sony (all thos wonderfull Tamron lenses).. waiting on that A7S3 duh The only important thing Panasonic still wins over Sony in my bag - is its IBIS. But maybe Sony will improve on it as well. We shall see.
  21. Hmm.. I just download everything manually from torrent trackers and Soulseek (rare stuff). Android here.
