If that is true, I hate Sony with all my heart for such an unethical and durty move. All the more reason to go Fuji instead of Sony when new cameras arrive this year. Panasonic needs to find their way around it or I will have to leave them behind unfortunately.

Year I know. But 10-25 is all metal and "extremly sharp" and it's 1.7 and parafocal

I like parafocalness 😁 But Sigma (or Tamron, Tokina, etc) could drop sharpness easily and add more plastic for lighter weight and cost reduction and maybe stay at 2.0 instead 1.8. I just don't want the size and weight of 18-35 to grow, I want it to shrink. Give us 16-40 2.0 with various native mirrorless mount and 700 gramm and that - would be awesome. It sure could be done, look at Pana 10-25.

They don't need to. Everyone using it on MFT with speedboosters anyway.

I think Fuji needs to create a couple of such zooms for its apc-s cameras. Like 16-35 or 16-40 f2. And 35-80 f2 or something in this range. I just don't want them to be humongous.

All of this doesnt matter for me if they dont add PDAF. They can go 16k or whatever. I am fine with 4k6010bit internal, but bring me PDAF, built-in ND and more DR.

I guess we might expect the same sensor for GH6. What video modes does it support besides 8k 24p?

I've just got myself a JINBEI EFII-60 from Ali which costs as much as Godox sl60w around 160$, has same 60w power output.. but lighter, quieter and does.. 11000 lux at 1 meter vs 4100 on Godox. And it works from Sony NP-F batteries out of the box ? Waiting for my softbox to arrive to conduct some actual tests. They have 100, 150, 200 watt models as well but they dont support np-f batteries. Seems like a new value king for me.

I do tend to agree with you. Why Pana discregarded PDAF for such a long period time is a mystery to me. Litterally every one eIse has it by now, even Olympus. I have made a promise to myself - I am not buying GH6 if it doesnt have PDAF, I will just say bye bye to Panasonic and move to Fuji/Sony. All next gen Pana cameras should have PDAF or I am not intrested.

Same here. I could alfa-beta-zeta test whatever you need If you can make reliable TOF AF without the need to use Tilta.. that would be just crazy. And man.. you would get some orders on that. Fixing GH5 AF wold be a milestone for everyone!

Mostly for B-Roll type of shooting with many diverse swishes, whooshes, nice impact sounds and etc.

I continue to edit down videos from my recent trip. I did bring the gimbal with me, but almost have not used it. So all hand-held again. Perfecting my ninja moves though ??

And.. would be awesome if you could mount any of those gimbals on a separate handle for manual shooting a-la osmo-pocket. That would be just a perfect thing for me. Anyway those specs look very legit on paper. Does anyone have experience with Autel drones in general?

Everything shot hand-held, mostly 4k60 and some rare 120fps shots. I love how you can do almost gimbal-like shots with 4k60 on GH5. I dont like 120p most of the time as it is too slow for my taste and overused. But those other filmakers which are using Sony and Canon dont have much choice if they want something as smooth. Suggest watching it in 4k.

Will the L-mount be dead on arrival? We should find out soon.

Oh cool finally. So which one of them uses a bigger better sensor than Osmo? Personally I would love to see a clone with wide angle zoom like 16-35mm and some new tech bigger sensor similar to Samsung iscosell, though I am not sure it is a better fit for video. But a bigger sensor then 1/2.3 defiantly. Seems like they all have that same 12mp Sony sensor My biggest complain with those tiny cameras - DR and Low light.

So were the hell is GH6? We dont have even any basic rumor. What takes them so long? Is it due to the new sensor delay or their FF lineup? Come on Panasonic, now is the time. Sony is lagging behind with their elusive A7S3 and nobody else has anything with 10 bit 4k60 and IBIS. Bring it on already!

Does the price of 1k$ includes 2 extra batteries? Damn I wish they made it foldable. And bigger battery up to 30 min would be perfect.
