I would argue that Casey Neistat is one of the Most talented videographers and Editors on You Tube hands down. He is a wiz at what he does, and I don't care what you try to do video wise, it in a sense is copying something he has already done as a YouTuber. He ain't a multi millionaire for no reason!

Casey got rid of the GH5 because he wanted a more of a Cine look and shallower DoF. I could not figure out what he went back too, but probably a Canon again for the DPAF. Also a GH5 is a pretty heavy camera to hold on a Joby.

I always buy stuff like that from a site called Craigslist here. Doubt they have it in NZ. Some of the old stuff is pretty much indestructible. A lot of people go to TV station auctions I guess? I guess ebay is good also. Vinten stuff I like the best.

I am a super big fan of Blurays! Top notch quality output, and I save all my photos to them also.

Pretty nice video made using a DJI Mavic Drone. You younger guys need to go do this kind of stuff before you get married ,have kids, and get tied down. I have be almost all around the world, but for those that haven't you are missing some incredible stuff the world has to offer. You will be old before you know it and you ain't hiking the Alps trust me.

Andrew shot this comparison and I think the GH2 is really a standout in it. They are cheap as heck these days. But so is a GH4 at times lately.

I would assume it has a PL mount on it, but if a person could find a B4 to PL mount adapter there are a bunch of great B4 lenses around.

Benro for the money is hard to beat for sort of a off brand. I can't tell you how many cheap heads and legs I have bought and ALL of them were shit. Pay the money for a name brand, used one, and be F ing done with it!!! And I think the Carbon Fiber ones are a waste of money for video unless you are doing ENG work. Save your money. Actually the extra weight is a plus for video.

Oh heck yes if I was making a living doing this I would have a high end camera, and it would probably be a used Alexa. I am talking personal use. Unless you won the Lotto having a Arri is a little over the top LoL.

Hell of a lot better than a lot of High end stuff if you ask me. And I Like this kind of look! Not every second of it is great but a hell of a lot of it is. And this is from a 800 dollar camera on ebay at lot of the time. And a hell of a lot of us have lenses that fit it. A BMCC is a hell of a camera for the money.

I already have a GoPro Session 5 and I bet they will inter mix quite well. That brings up a topic that I bet if Blackmagic ever makes a 4k BMPCC it will probably look close to this Z1 camera even in Raw. Very few cameras look Cinelike, Filmic shooting 4k. 4k in a sense is too good for a film look. Not that a 1DC or like cameras are not beautiful in 4k they are, but they don't have the look a BMPCC has good or bad. I can not begin to imagine how clean a 8k camera output looks like. I will probably be dead before I could afford even a 8k Monitor, let alone a 8k camera LoL.

I would have to agree that is true with Sigma cameras. Just like Panasonic cameras were and still are sort of greenish, as well I have seen that as a problem with most cameras other than Canon which is too reddish. So none of them, but maybe Arri, seem to be near perfect colors wise. I would argue though that we as humans tend to see things more yellow green than they are. I think it has to do more with saturation in our eyes. And they claim women see colors different than men.

Most of the cheap C500's I have seen are PL mount, and by the time you buy a external recorder to do 4k well, you might as well buy a stripped down C200 and get DPAF to boot.

Kind of funny for me to hear Rap music in German! Works fine. I think I would at least wait for this GH5s thingy to see what it is. Might be the best thing since sliced bread for the money? Trouble with the BMPCC is low light and it is not the easiest thing to handle. I sort of like the BMCC better for production. But you are not going to run n gun with it like you sort of can with the BMPCC. Yeah that seems crazy the a Sony a7r II would be noisy?? They are almost as good as the A7s. Yeah not a lot I have seen either that is Cine looking out of a GH5 compared to what you get form a BM product. But it does have a wealth of features in it not many cameras have. I think better LuTs will come out. That Arri LuT on here Sage has looks great for them.
