I've shot this film fully with GX80 (GX85) + ProColor.
All shots handheld with 5axis stab on.

I thought I will share the video, it shows this LUT capabilities:

Pulled the trigger an hour ago - GX80, 14-140mm, two spare batteries, two 64gb cards. Should (if my calculations are correct) cover me for 2 hours of 4K on any given day.

Thick as a plank myself - which is why I only use i(diot)Macs. Never had a problem with either my 2011 or 2015 iMac but two Windows laptops before them lasted less than a year between them. Spent more time with silly security updates every five minutes than ever getting anything done. £800 down the drain.
I would only recommend non Macs to clever people.

IMO go with the GX80 + lens option. My thinking is for 3 reasons:
1) the FZ330, FZ1000, FZ2000 don't have real 4k options for wide angles, something that's important with street protests.
2) the next time you buy a camera you'll be able to use the lens which means a cheaper ownership.
3) if your needs change, the GX80 will change with them and do low-light as well.

If Sony don't implement 4K 60fps then they can forget about denting Panasonic's sales of the GH5. Regardless of everything else - even that which is of more importance for film makers - 4K 60fps is the main selling point for 99% of buyers.

All kidding aside, The Gh5 is looking like a camera that is impossible to not buy if you are serious about film making. At least on a budget, and want a small size factor camera. Looking really Damn good.
And I bet there is some LuT to make it a bit less Videoish looking. Is it going to look like a BMPCC in Raw, probably not, but I bet it can be made to get sort of close.
But in reality I don't think you can really make 4k look less Videoish because the 4k on it has so damn much detail in it. I guess it would defeat the purpose of even Shooting in 4k???
I don't envy Sony right now. They are going to have to make a pretty unbelievable camera to compete with the GH5. They are almost going to have to come up with a bigger body size to compete with the better battery life, cooling that is going to be needed to outdo the GH5, or heck even match it. It will be interesting. We May find out at the end of this month at NAB!

On my walk to drop off some gear at the rental house, I ran into 5 teenagers filming.
I of course wanted to ask what they were up to, camera, lens etc, and it ended up being a very enlightening experience (15mins of).
They are vloggers and instagramers here in Finland with over 100 000 followers/ subscribers in each medium. 
I, indeed, was the old fart (all 37 of my years on earth) they were humouring but they were super pleasant and made my day.
But to the point, all they had as 'gear' was an olympus, native pancake lens, and a tiny plastic tripod. Their main goal was to walk around the city and produce content.
I metioned I had some stuff like the Zhiyun Crane, like it was impressive... but it turns out that kind of stuff was arbitrary to their interests.
These guys were content machines.
It made me think. Have I been getting it all wrong?
Yes, I script, I storyboard, I know my way around a manual cinema camera and traditional lighting techniques...
But who cares anymore?
These kids are the future and they did not care a toss about dynamic range or bitrates. They wanted everything auto so they could focus on actually enjoying a shoot.
Something to think about...

Using an external recorder and being a paid Panasonic Lumix Luminary is also key
Only kidding. As long as folk spend a good few days training up muscle memory, then finding the right combination of autofocus settings for the job in hand will be no different to taking the lens cap off an a6500 and hitting record.

Regarding Max's latest GH5 video, I won't have time to watch it until tonight but will say that he has a history of integrity as a reviewer.
