Probably Luca is used to Italy, where you get charged 25-35% for everything. And sometimes much more. I remember that I bought a plastic figure, about 40$, and I paid 25€ of custom fees.

No need for that in my case, Qatar has no tax on received items like this, lol.

Same in Greece, crazy custom fees! But nice summery weather 9 months per yea and a lot of hundreds of islands. Oh! And crazy low minimum wages too!

Great cause Norway has 25% import tax, makes me cry tears everytime.

I send as a letter. This method does not involve any additional customs fees!

Hey Luca, I don't know, depends what kind of shipping.  If Fedex handles it once it reaches here they will come to the house.  If it is DHL, then probably as well, but if it is coming through the main post office they will send it back if I don't pick it up in like 2 days, so in that case it still works if it arrives before I leave, but otherwise be checking the return mail.  I guess we'll just hope for the best and I'll give you an update if they arrive or before I leave if they don't.

I ship international registered shipping with poste Italiane courier.

Luca, are mine in the mail or what?  I hate to pester you but I have no news on this front.  I'm going to be heading for vacation in 11 days...  If they aren't in the mail already now, I may be stopping in Venice on my trip around the new year,... though I don't know how far that is from you.

Hello K, I ship your twins NX-L this week (thursday or before), it's ok or change the program? I live 30 minute to Taormina, it's lovely country! The best time to visit it is in the summer.

  4. I noticed that my NX1 with NX-KS hack when shooting with fhd 50fps, I can set the maximum bitrate 320Mb/s without it stops the movie, as happens when I set other frame rates.
The file that I get has a speed of about 160Mb/s and this is very strange because I can shoot at 200Mb/s with 100fps.
Now I ask, is this a bug?
I have installed latest version hack.

Looks great! What did you do as far as in-camera settings and post color out of curiosity.

Thank's mate, I thought I would put in the NXL box, all my work settings. Do you think it is a good idea?

Yeah I can't wait to get mine either! Checking my mailbox every day ha. I plan on using mine for stills as well, so I'll post some detailed 28mp shots of with and without for sure, for proper comparisons. But it looks to be holding the detail really well! Of course we're all sad that Samsung abandoned this great camera, but at the same time I very much doubt anything like the NX-L would ever have been created otherwise, so it's quite the silver lining. You rock, @lucabutera!

Thank you, I try to do my best on NXL speed booster.

Hey Luca, finally received email due to end of fundraising directing me to profile page to enter address (https://www.produzionidalbasso.com/account/edit-profile) I entered my phone number in the same line as the street address.   I will be going for vacation on December 15th, so if it arrives between the Dec. 15th and January 20th or so then I will not be able to receive it and they will probably ship it back to you.  If it is without the phone number they will also ship it back to you as they will not be able to reach me so that I can collect the package.  ... I have been waiting until the start of the next year to get a PO box to receive with them because they charge for a whole calender year regardless of when you get it (e.g. so if I got it now it would be only for 2 months and I would pay for the entire year).  This is if your are sending via normal mail that arrives at the post office, some others through FedEx and DHL can deliver to the home depending on the class/type of mail service requested.  Sorry for the complicated shipping situation.

Kisaha, I'm looking forward to it as well.

Quiet, do not fear! I think it'll be fine...

    @lucabutera

Is it more expensive and complex to make the conversion board fit inside the mount or was it just made so that it is easier to adapt to the dumb mount?

both, I'm practical man, not daydream, what I did is already available today. all other projects take a long time, and Samsung nx1 / 500 needs adapters today. a speed booster adapter and an adapter Aputure are very effective for those who need it and reduce the gap with the competition.

Which Aputure DEC adapter (EF and EF-S-Mount Lenses  E-Mount Cameras or MFT mount cameras) does this conversion kit work with?

Hi build the NX kit conversion for Aputure Dec EF/E mount. Maybe the MFT version it's the same, but I do not shure of this.

Luca: Hey man, it's been a few days now since I ordered two NX-L and haven't heard anything since the order confirmation from the site or your email with the project.  Did the order somehow not go through?  It all seemed like it worked on my end.

    They are in the works.

And hella expensive, lol.  I've always been a bit skeptical of these front mounted ones.  It's true there is no loss of f-stop though you will lose some t-stop (hopefully quite minimal).  I guess just most of the ones I've seen are pedalled cheap on Amazon and E-bay as a long range panacea but are actually of horrible optical quality.  I know a few of the camera brand names have made some that are purported to be quite good, but they weren't in the filter sizes I wanted as they were made for particular cameras, sometimes even being the same size but with a different thread pitch.  It's not often that I come across any concrete information on these so it has been hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.  This product and the Raynox DCR 2025 Pro both seem to be quite well reviewed though.  What makes the HDP 9000EX so much more expensive?  Is it almost entirely due to the size (fitting 62mm threads for the 2025 and 72mm for the 9000) and lower demand?

I'll look into these Raynox ones a bit more but will be continuing my other project anyway, I'm having fun with it and I already have a bunch of Canon lenses.

The other thing that always makes me worry is that most of the people reviewing are doing video, and the video shown was 720p.  1080p is only ~2 MP.... how can I review critical sharpness at that?  4k, is still only ~8 MP, my intended output in this case is 28 MP... so I think you see my reason for skepticism when I have nothing to evaluate these properly.  For lenses DXO usually gives me at least a relative idea if I can't find one in store, but discussion of these adapters is still too sparse for my liking.  Might bite anyway eventually.

Ttbek, I'm with you on this. Back focal multipliers are always much much better in iq and ca.

As Luca built a docal reducer, he could have the skills and production capabilities to clone the sigma accessory and make it available for nx mount...that'd be cool indeed.

The larger lenses = better picture quality, with the same optical quality across a wide front lens is better than small rear lens.
Before criticizing it needs to be tested otherwise speak without awareness of what we say.
front lenses designed for camcorders like the anamorphic lens AG-LA7200 have proved to be of excellent optical quality.
Moreover, no loss of F stop of light is enough to justify the price, a Canon 300 f 2.8 costs € 5,500.00!
it is possible to buy it to test, if you are not satisfied can you return it back.

Wow, Luca, this could be really INTERESTING!!!!!

Would you consider doing this again in the "produzioni dal basso" way, as for the NXL?

I'd really be interested in a converter with the quality of the canon L one:

    http://www.canon.it/lenses/extender-ef-2x-iii-lens/

Or, much cheaper but also very good, the Sigma:

    https://photographylife.com/reviews/sigma-2-0x-teleconverter

Also the 1.4X could be really good.

But the lens quality has to be outstanding.

    http://www.canon.it/lenses/extender-ef-2x-iii-lens/

O, molto più economico, ma anche molto valido, il Sigma:

    https://photographylife.com/reviews/sigma-2-0x-teleconverter

Anche la versione 1.4X sarebbe valida.

Ma la qualità della lente dev'essere spettacolare.

    Hell Marco, try this http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/video/hdp9000ex/index.htm

Telephoto 1.8x, superb quality, NO INFLUENCE F NUMBER OF THE MASTER LENS, 72mm thread like the 50-150 samsung lens.

    test:

    buy: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/458454-REG/Raynox_HDP_9000EX_HDP_9000EX_1_8x_High_Definition.html
