  1. Hello, This seems to work okay. I would like to see that the location selections are memorized, having to drill down everytime is cumbersome. Thanks!
  2. I like the looks of the black non pro version better.
  3. Wow. This looks very good to me. Now, when I am able to purchase the Rectilux HardCoreDNA...
  4. Received, seems nice, only wished I could have afforded two kits for this price. One for the GH5, and one for the Canon 5DMkII. Will buy again for this price.
  5. I have guessed previously that Panasonic has tuned the GH5 internal circuit for the external audio adapter add on, seems like it is a mandatory option for good audio for the GH5? Shame, I have other external options already purchased. Alternately, maybe a simple in line circuit switchable pad could be used? I have an Audio Technica XLR one some where arround...
  6. Oh, I just recently got a Zoom F4, it supposedly does USB "soundcard" interface too, though, I have not used that feature. Yes, I am a gearslut...
  7. Shrug, I went for studio gear, I bought an RME Fireface UFX, couldn't be any happier. Though, I did supplement(add) the number of inputs with an Appogee AD-16x. This was to plugin to seperate channels on the band's mixer board. No, not lowcost as in OP subject, but great multichannel support. I debated long and hard over the low cost items. I now want a JoeCo Blackbox... I agree with BTM_Pix, Gearslutz.com is the place, "see" you there.
  8. Shrug, this is a hobby for me, VERY expen$ive one too! Luckily? I have a good paying job. Unfortunately, it is full time, and VERY demanding/stressful, sigh... Doesn't leave much time for important stuff, like family, hobbies, etc... How I wish I could do this fulltime, it would be super great.
  9. I have always been told chocolate is very bad for a dog. I have to Google this now... Wow, that's what I thought, it is poisonous to them. PLEASE DON'T give dogs chocolate!
  10. Shrug, this will be good for me, as I am just starting out...
  11. Does this guy reply? Anyone have an email? The site content is VERY old, and the web contact form seems useless.

    Audio Software

I too like this, I purchased it. Thought long and hard about buying into the Protools stuff, but then, didn't like the idea, too much like the arrogant Adobe world I abandoned.
  13. looks cool, can you show pics of it attached to the Rectilux HardCoreDNA? thanks!
  14. I agree, BTW, I do this for family friends, not as a paid gig, or anything, some call me crazy for the amount of gear I have and use at school choir shows. Shrug, it's what I do... A still from the weekend. Don't really know how this happened in daylight, no ND filters, etc. GH5 - Metabones Speedbooster 0.64XL, 20mm macro tube, Canon 200/1.8L You really can't see this properly on the web, the resize and Firefox kills the contrast range. Yeah, the bee is out of focus, shrug...
  15. Oh, so on a GH5 the crops are the same for stills and C4K video? My GH5 LCD doesn't show that when I switch from C4K to stills, they are different views. I will have to take photos and show, perhaps with a grid background... Does the following hold true? GH4 stills with 0.64XL = lens focal length in mm X 0.64 x 1.28 = 35mm equivalent focal length 50mm X 0.64 = 32mm X 1.28 = 40.96mm GH4 C4K with 0.64XL = lens focal length in mm X 0.64 x 1.5 = 35mm equivalent focal length 50mm X 0.64 = 32mm X 1.5 = 48mm -=- GH4 stills with 0.71 = lens focal length in mm X 0.71 x 1.42 = 35mm equivalent focal length 50mm X 0.71 = 35.5mm X 1.42 = 50.41mm GH4 C4K with 0.71 = lens focal length in mm X 0.71 x 1.66x = 35mm equivalent focal length 50mm X 0.71 = 35.5mm X 1.66 = 58.93mm
  16. I'm still not exactly understanding all the crops, aspect ratios, focal length, etc. I kinda do for the GH4, as Metabones have posted the information on their site. I don't see this information for the GH5. I do notice a difference in the views between C4K/24, and photo modes on the GH5. I am debating on which additional Speedbooster to get, as I want separate ones for my GH4 and my GH5. I'm trying to kit two anamorphic video rigs. Metabones Speed Booster XL 0.64x Specifications: Magnification: 0.64x Crop Factor for Full Micro Four Thirds format: 1.28x Crop Factor with GH4 in Cinema 4k (4096 x 2160) Video Mode: 1.5x Metabones Speed Booster ULTRA m43 Specifications: Magnification: 0.71x Crop Factor for Full Micro Four Thirds format: 1.42x Crop Factor with GH4 in Cinema 4k (4096 x 2160) Video Mode: 1.66x
  17. I have, using a Canon mount Sigma Art 18-35/1.8, and a Canon 200/1.8L The Canon 200/1.8L was reported as f1.2 when wide open *8^) Worked for me... Have to test my Canon 50/1.0L, it worked good on the GH4 with the Metabones 0.64XL Speedbooster.
  18. But the Ironglass optics are not really anamorphics, just oval iris. Not really understanding...
  19. BTW - GH5 native support is NOW in Davinci Resolve Studio 12.5.6 ! BOTH .mov and .mp4 C24K 10bit 4.2.2 works in windoze! YEY! D/L it now.
  20. FINALLY! BOTH .mov and .mp4 C24K 10bit 4.2.2 works in windoze! YEY! D/L it now.
  21. A focus slider and and switches for sensitivity settings of the slider would be great.
  22. STILL waiting on native GH5 10bit 4.2.2 support in Resolve Studio 12.5, argh! This bumming me out.
  23. Haha, you got it, I didn't really know how to word it, without saying it.
