  1. Hmm...I tried installing it, and it says I already have it, meanwhile I tried DNXhr and seems to be good, but a huge file size, Ill reupload the video and post it here.
  2. Im not on Mac, does it only work on Mac ?! If so, whats the alternative ?! :/
  3. So, just tried exporting, this may be a really dumb question, but I cant find ProRes. I choose quick time, and theres only a few settings (1080i etc.) and if I choose "Rewrap" I get an error - "The source file's video stream is not compatible with this preset. Please choose a different preset".
  4. I remember seeing something like that. Today Im gonna re-render it when I get home, most detail/sharpness is gone and the grain is mushy as hell and its not doing any justice to the cmera at all. Thank you :D
  5. Finally got a few minutes to do a little "trailer" of the wedding I posted a few pics of a few weeks back, here it is...It was "rushed" because Im really in a very tight schedule lately, hope you guys like it : Let me know what you guys think ! Ps. I still havent figured out how to render properly, quality is destroyed when I upload it somehow..
  6. This looks stunning ! Congrats !
  7. The best and easiest way to grade is adding the Lut as a baseline and then do all the adjustments needed (curves/exposure/contrast and so on), this is how I edit my footage. Heres an exmaple of some test grades i've been doing for a music video.
  8. Seems way too good to be true ! Ill wait for samples, but so far looking amazing !
  9. Might be my new B-cam to pair with the Nx1 ! This seems incredible !
  10. How do you export as ProRes ?!
  11. Thank you The first shot was using the Samyang 14mm f2.8 and the 2nd the 24mm f1.4.
  12. Thank you Here are the settings for that look: Lut : Sunderland (from Deluts) Intensity at 57,4 // Saturation at 87 // Fade 30,6, and heres the curve : And here are two new pictures (not videoframes) : Hope you guys like =)
  13. I dont have the 16-50S, way out of my budget unfortunatelly, these were all with Samyang 24mm f1.4 and Samyang 14mm f2.8. All of them are videoframes, even though the last ones dont have the black bars, thats because I forgot to add them.
  14. I had promised myself not to post any more screens without actually posting a video, but I couldnt resist start grading some new stuff. I promise Ill post this video this week :3
  15. I wouldnt agree with that, having worked with the 600D for years and now jumping to the NX1. Firstly the NX1 is much more sensitive than the Canon, situations where I needed to go to ISO 800 on the Canon, I can easily stay at ISO 400 on the NX1. Even comparing it to the Nikon D800 video, the NX1 fairs much better, theres a lot less noise and banding and the image is still very crisp. Id even go as far as saying its only behind the A7 series, because its pretty much on par/better than any other 4k camera.
  16. Thank you Glad you enjoyed it, let me know how it went =)
  17. Theres a post here on page 6-8 (cant remember) where theres a full tutorial on how to get a similar look to this one, for these, I just changed the curves to make the image flatter, when I get home I can share full settings !
  18. They are very inconsistant, I've tried the 8mm, 14mm, 24mm, 35mm and 85mm. The smoothest of them all so far, is the 24mm, then the 14mm also quite smooth. The 8mm was average and the 85 was quite stiff, but smooth as well. Also, both the 8mm and 85mm were rokinon, instead of samyang.
  19. This one was the Canon version, but im getting the Nikon version to have Aperture control.
  20. Its probably the sharpest f1.8 lens I've ever seen, even superior to F4 L glass from canon, for example. The only thing I didnt like was the weight (810 gr) and the focus ring is incredibly smooth, but heavy, compared to my samyang 24mm f1.4, which has the best focus ring i've ever tried, very very light and very very smooth. Still, this made me sell some of my gear, and get it asap, its really an amazing lens and when I have it, ill def. put up some more test images, I only tested it at night, so theres still much more to test.
  21. Im getting the Nikon version, so that I can use apertura, but no AF. Its really amazing how sharp this thing is..
  22. Got to try the Sigma 18-35 yesterday, and I must say, what an amazing lens, incredibly sharp at 1.8, although a bit heavy and with a heavy focus/zoom ring, still an amazing lens. Not much was put into the grading, just something simple, to test the lens ! Also took a few pics, though I dont usually photograph, heres one..
  23. Thank you all Im glad you guys enjoyed it. Lenses used for this was the Canon 50mm f1.8, Samyang 24 f1.4 and the Samyang 14mm f2.8 for the wide shots. Grading/camera settings was similar to the wedding settings I posted earlier, in fact, I havent changed my camera settings since then. The only thing Im not really happy about is the banding, which I am still fighting to eliminate. I already tweaked this further, so Ill share a few later, and post the full settings =)
  24. Been to busy filming this past week, heres a few shots, this will probably be not the final grade, but its getting there.
  25. Here are full settings : http://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/18661-your-ideal-nx1-settings/?do=findComment&comment=125450
