Anyone use Leeming Lut with CineD from G85? It is for GH4 and G7, but may be similar profile if not the same.

My setup, not exactly a cage. Shoot35 baseplate + Smallrig lens support and C shape arm with handle. Afforable and nice parts in a budget.

That is not good. Probably missaligned/damaged element on the Kowa. If Helios by itself works ok, must work with the kowa in the same way. Plenty of flares and oval bokeh. Check a white line in kowa body thats is the vertical mark and focus distance indicator. You should get sharp inages from the kowa almost wide open.

Hi Tito! About your last episode of tuning up the Kowa, when do you know the Lens have to be tuned? I have the 16H and found it sharp enough but found interesting if it could be sharper though. Risky dilema.

No, sorry. I only own a G85 and Gh4 to compare. I was looking at youtube and nobody seems to be comparing both colors/skin tones. If you find a Gx85 vs G85 colors comparison, please post it here.

Advantages are weather sealing, IBIS 2, and Cine profiles. Better ergonomics too.

This test is a 100-400 handheld shoot... What do you spect from this long lens without a tripod?

I get "strong whobling" with the G80 (first firmware) and i think i was lossing my anamorphic atachment, but not. it was rock solid. Then i realize that new Ibis was the reason why my footage was like under drugs. Vertical axis of the lens is fixed and sensor axis are moving all the time (if handheld) so everytine change the aligment. I think is more evident with modern IBIS and 2x anamorphic ratios. I dont really know what focal length set manually. The same as lens? The Full frame equivalent? or divided x2?

"Vertical stabilization only" mode will be the only usefull thing.

Today, when i was shooting some tests with G80 and Kowa 2x, handheld , i can see sometimes the image whobling and misaligned due the sensors movements. It's only an advice that i haven't read it before.

Leaving apart the stabilization problems, i wanna talk about this camera best settings . I find that there's not CineD/CineV in Photo 4K (4:3ratio) for anamorphic people. So trying to figure out whats the best option, Portrait or Natural, wich WB tweak (like GX80) in order to get best skin tones / pleasant image.
