  1. Lightly used Ursa Mini Pro EF Mount. Less than a year old, selling as it doesn't get used enough to warrant keeping it. Has had screen protector on since day 1. Price is firm at $8000 AUD Includes: - Ursa Mini Pro - Blackmagic EVF - Blackmagic V Mount Plate - Smallrig Extension Arm - Smallrig EVF Top Handle - Smallrig Shoulder Rig - SSD - CF Setup - 160 WH V Lock Battery - 130 WH V Lock Battery - Battery Charger with D-Tap connection that plugs into wall
  2. Hey everyone! I've been using a cheap lens support I bought off ebay but it is very short and only just reaches my clamp on my Kowa 16-H. It's super annoying when changing lenses and I really need to look for a better rock solid solution. I'd love to see what everyone is using in terms of lens supports and maybe look into getting a clamp+support combo. Thanks so much!
  3. Hey there. As per the title, I am looking to buy a Hardcore DNA but will also consider Core DNA if the price is right. I'm based in Australia but happy to pay for postage from another country. Let me know if you have one that you'd like to part with. Cheers.
  4. I found a small thread that briefly talked about this but it didn't hold any answers so i thought i'd make a new thread. I'm just wondering what everyone's experiences are with Ibis while shooting anamorphic. I got to test out my Kowa 16-H yesterday coupled with a voigtlander 75mm 2.5 on my a7sii and noticed some weird little wobbles in the footage. I was shooting 4k and had Ibis turned on and set to my taking lens focal length, however now i'm thinking I should have either had it completely off or set to half the taking length focal length considering I was shooting at 2x squeeze. Have any of you more experienced shooters encountered this, any ideas on how to address it? Cheers.
  5. They conveniently just sold out last night! haha so frustrating. I've emailed them to see when they'll be getting more but if it's a bit of a wait I'm just going to get the rapido, they look really nice.
  6. Thanks for the info Jim! definately sounds like a great product. The fact you can use the same clamp on all different lenses is pretty neat. I'll definitely be getting one if I continue to buy and shoot with more anamorphics. It's looking like a pretty good option for the price for me at the moment. Ooo this one? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141997441693?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 Very tempting since I only own one anamorphic at the moment and am pretty keen on just grabbing something on the cheaper side that is still going to be decent quality but at only $15 more i think i'll probably just grab the rapido. Thanks for everyones opinions and suggestions, greatly appreciated. It's a bit daunting getting into anamorphic shooting but this forum has made it that much easier.
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys. I just checked out Rapido and they look great although based off this page: http://www.rapidotechnology.com/products-services/customized-step-up-down-rings/adapter-for-kowa-lens/kowa-8z-16h to buy the components to mount a helios 44 to the Kowa 16-H i'm looking at $60USD which for me is $79AUD. I compared it to the price of the two part clamp by Redstan: http://www.redstan.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=33&product_id=70 which costs 55 pounds, or $88AUD.... plus the step ring off ebay ($2), I'm thinking it's probably worth the extra $11 to get the redstan. Or am I missing something?
  8. I managed to pick up my first anamorphic adapter for $650AUD, a Kowa Prominar 16-H and i've been looking at some of the clamp options. From what i've read, the Redstan adapters sound really solid but I'm wondering if many people have tried any slightly cheaper alternatives such as the clamps from Rafcamera? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141997441693?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 I've also got some rods and would love to know if anyone has any cheap support options? Thanks!
  9. Thanks for your input. After further research i've decided to keep my eye out for an Elmoscope-II or a Kowa 16-H. Can't wait to start experimenting!
  10. Looking to buy Elmoscope-II Please pm me if you have one and what you'd like for it Thanks
  11. I'm on the lookout for my first anamorphic and just saw this pop up, anyone think it's worth the gamble? It does say there's a bit of mould.. tempted to buy it and try and clean it but i don't have any experience doing so. Anyone here ever tried to clean one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kowa-Promiar-Anamorphic-Lens-16-S-NICE-/272399720712?hash=item3f6c49e108:g:xj0AAOSwOyJX8jVv
