I'll second VisionTech - it's easily the best of the bunch by a long way.
But remember that you shouldn't grade too much with 8-bit H264 files, as they'll fall apart. You need to get it as close as you can in-camera, then adjust for contrast & saturation and/or very minor cc.
Cinestyle is absolute rubbish & looks rubbish, it requires you to grade the footage too much & you'll run into problems with 8-bit footage.

ES contact the three people involved , keep in regular contact with them and get on with the plan for refunding them in full with a realistic time frame they are happy with and stick to it.

this is International criminal activity with no regard what so ever for EOSHD members , not to mention 3 years of lies on this forum ,
and suddenly everyone is friends again and all is ok .  come on guys  Its not OK ! wake up !
ES is a very sophisticated criminal who stole from EOSHD members and they need paying back asap. We have to wait and see if that EVER happens.
 
Be very very cautious about anything said by ES its not all of a sudden all true.
 

You see this is the part I am having trouble with. There are a ton of members and just casual readers that come to this site for information. A lot of times the validity of that information may lead to an expensive purchase. ES spoke with an authoritative voice backed up by the highest site rating (other than Andrew Reid) People trusted him and people were misled by his fraudulent posts. And he still refuses to answer the most basic of questions regarding g his history on this site.
I really hope that Andrew completes a thorough investigation of not only ES's IP address, but also his activity as a forum member. As I have said before, I think there are other aliases ES may have used to help prop himself up and in turn he probably used his own "reputation" to prop up other posters... So I would be very interested to know who received a lot of likes from ES... Was there a pattern and a few "members" received the lion share of his fraudulent praise?

Except the problem goes much deeper then this petty scam.. see the bigger problem is this kid has been compulsively lying to everybody in just about every forum post for the past 3 years. He's given false advice to possibly hundreds if not thousands of people (if you include lurkers). That type of behaviour is pretty unforgivable, he may have led people to loose thousands in wrong gear investment choices. The kid is an extensive compulsive liar and for that alone he certainly shouldn't be given a free pass to further contributions. The worst part is he is very convincing with his arguments which are often well thought and informed (he probably spends all his free time watching and comparing camera gear footage, reviews, vlogs  and knows a thing or two about film stock thanks to grading with film emulations etc) and he enhances his conviction with casual mention of his decade spanning career in high budget film/TV/production work, name dropping Alexas, film stock and all kinds of bogus info to add credibility... Let me just illustrate you this with one example, a single post by ES with his Saadawi Senior Media empire CEO / hospital ER physician/ Senior PhD Radiologist hat on, giving advice to a hesitant C100 buyer :

As far as the scam goes, I don't think we'll ever get to the real truth of the matter, but I hope people have learnt a valuable leason - PayPal or nothing.
If a refund occurs, then all well & good.
However, it really is time that these 2 people uncouple & present themselves as 2 distinct individuals.

I lost all interest in him ages ago & I do believe it was his post about using ETTR on 8-bit DSLR footage that was the final straw - everyone knows you ETTR with RAW & only RAW, shit I wouldn't do it with ProRes HQ let alone DSLR codecs. (I'll stand corrected if that post wasn't him, but I think i'm right).

Apologies in advance if this is widely known.  Personally, I've never found a really good explanation of why front anamorphs produce oval bokeh and rear anamorphs don't, despite reading my fair share of patents, technical papers, internet gossip and the like.  Feeling that my own understanding needed some firming up I finally set up some paraxial models and went through the math in gory detail.  It all boils down to how front and rear converters alter (or don't alter) the f/#, and basic DOF type circle of confusion calculations.  It has nothing to do with higher order aberrations, or the shape of the front lens, or various mechanical aspects of the lens.
Briefly:
1) A front anamorph is just a special case of a front afocal attachment, and as a result it preserves the f/# of the lens its attached to.  With an anamorphic front lens the focal length is shorter in the powered axis than in the non-powered axis.  For example, consider a 2:1 anamorph attached to a 100mm f/2 spherical lens.  In this case the net focal length is 50mm in the powered axis and 100mm in the non-powered axis, but in both cases the aperture remains f/2.  If you venture into the weeds to do circle of confusion calculations for a given object-space defocus you discover that a de-focused point source evaluated at the image plane is an ellipse with an aspect ratio of 4:1.  However, you only need to de-squeeze the image by 2x to correct the in-focus geometry, so you are left with de-focused ellipses with an aspect ratio of 2:1.
2) A rear anamorph is just a special case of a rear-mounted teleconverter, and as a result it *does not* preserve the f/# of the lens its attached to.  In particular, in the powered axis the aperture becomes slower.  For example, consider an 50mm f/2 spherical lens with a 2x rear anamorph.  Here the net focal length is 100mm in the powered axis, but the aperture has dropped to f/4, and is still 50mm f/2 in the non-powered axis.  When you do the circle of confusion calculations with object-space defocus you find the on-sensor defocused image to be an ellipse with a 2:1 aspect ratio.  When you desqueeze by 2x this defocus ellipse becomes a perfect circle.
Bottom Line:  Rear anamorphs have circular bokeh because they *don't* preserve the f/# of the spherical lens in both axes, while front anamorphs have elliptical bokeh because they *do* preserve the f/# of the spherical lens in both axes.

As a rule of thumb, simple recipe lenses do work best & the least amount of MC the better.
A good copy of the Helios 44-2 58mm f2 is one of the best, if not the best.
The Super-Takumar 55mm f1.8 or 50mm 1.4 are good (not the SMC versions).
The Nikon Ai-s 50mm f1.8 pancake, as are the other ai-s lenses (don't go E version, they're not in the same league).
As for 35mm, I have found the Mir-24M 35mm f2 (M42 mount) is an amazing lens.
But in the end it's all about personal taste, so it's your choice/opinion that counts.

I've shot quite a few live music events & I always get my shots - never even thought about reframing, not once. In fact, most of the time i'm able to sync stuff from one song to make it look like it belongs to another - perhaps I'm just used to knowing what will work & what won't. And yes the Pocket's DR in ProRes (RAW's a luxury one can't afford when filming live stuff) is exactly what makes my task that much easier when editing it all up. That's the other thing as well, if you film but don't edit, you tend to be out of the creative loop - I'm always thinking about the edit when I film stuff, it would be stupid not to.
