  1. What good news! Really excited about : ) Best Panny AF performance ever to my eyes... WOW Need to check not under direct/key light now :- ) Wondering how AF will match or not under low light...
  2. Yes, it is... Pity they don't implement 4K 120fps already available on the new ASUS, though : X
  3. Confusing? Please stop. This introduction is actually remarkable... I never discuss what some other people want. Don't neglect what you don't need. Enthusiastic product tester here... who knows probably adopter? ; ) I am looking this product since a decade ago at least... 3x GH1, 4X G7... does this say something to you?
  4. This camera is for those to whom Genlock makes the whole sense. Other than that, please don't speak about features you don't need : ) I never ask a woman why she wants that fancy stuff I struggle to wonder a reason for :- )
  5. Same price for Z Cam going sync, however, I feel myself tempted to buy a couple of them only because of that : ) WTH This is a dream of an offer, best bang for the buck for now IMHO :- )
  6. Some other people don't bother with, though : ) I understand your point but then this camera is not adequate for other than 5.1K mode or under. Thanks for your response, it clears up my wondering anyway :- )
  7. @rdouthit and @herein2020 what about the overheating mod? Have you tested it intensively?
  8. I guess I am too suspicious right now to talk about them but I guess David would be softer ; ) if anyhow involved with the brand...
  9. to offer the best selfie capture device ever as well: ...and a new standard for 3D acquisition too to potentially overcome sync needs :- )
  10. BTW, how long we'll have for editing posts today? PS: Never mind... I figured out myself now LOL This has an important impact on forum content anyway, but maybe your goal right? : )
  11. I'd just love the blue in the light version's lettering as closer as we had before. See blue as part of EOSHD brand IMHO. Thank you for listening (E :- )
  12. Done, by suggestion of our webmaster, let's focus here for the overheating hassle : ) Still wondering if this cannot help the overheating issue coupled to an aluminium cage...
  13. This is coming from the main R5 thread: Manufacturer's webpage link: Some additional accessory suggested by an useful tip from our user member's entry @Jn-. And here are the last contributions to the talk:
  14. To buy and use their dedicated reader is much more handy than the SSD removal from enclosure for sure. Thanks for the heads up @Jn- : ) No, you don't use "their reader in the place of their SSD enclosure", you'll use their reader to read the data from the SSD inside their enclosure :- )
  15. Even something for 300/400 bucks coupled to free camera2API do the trick much better... I think only 4K120fps can be the news up there... Let's wait and see, Sony doesn't convince me for years except with their sensors when used by others. Sad but rather true because they only focus on their high-end, to my view, even worse than others (Cannot ; )
  16. Thanks for the accuracy and your entries, guys, that's what I guessed yesterday when the stereographer (who has worked with Peter Greenaway too) sent me the link (he is aware of this our thread), but my best bet is still the Z Cam for 3D acquisition -- AFAIK the only one from their offer to have 10-Pin LEMO Sync: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442842-REG/z_cam_e1503_e2_professional_4k_cinematic.html/specs
  17. http://achtel.com/9x7/ 9x7 Camera features state-of-the-art back-side illuminated (BSI), APS-H sized sensor with true global shutter and capable of high frame rates (HFR) up to 70 fps at full resolution. 9.3K x 7K 4:3 ratio @70fps, not bad, humm? : X Perfect IMAX 3D capture device? ;- ) *cough cough* : D
  18. The same principle that modder fellow up there posted in the previous page from Zitay website... And Andrew has been saying a few posts earlier in the same page: Aluminium cage would help to spread and refrain the issue.
  19. Yes, that faster performance won't affect the current needs except for two reasons IMHO I'd sincerely love to see some other experts to comment without secondary interpretations : D Extra use other than R5 (once again, my needs are not yours and vice versa) as future proof as well but I wonder if it won't benefit in terms of overheating...? Well, thanks for your heads-up rolling in private messages. Once public, here I am. No offense taken up there. No pun intended to people we cannot have a single idea who they are (I guess this works both ways or even multilayered when we have many users around, distinct experiences, core business and so on) because as said, the world is yet too big despite this damned pandemic and we ain't all Hollywood characters : D Yup, I found it strange that (external) quote and such level of certainty from people I've never heard about and from my lack of background on that I let it hear from people with more knowledge than myself. As simple as that. Not necessarily to endorse anything I can't stand for the same reasons I see any activity or craft on earth as a cooperative process in the same field. Not else. Misunderstandings happen (non-native language speakers, etc) but they stop to occur in all the goodwill when we see some general words strictly in a literal sense if we refuse to admit them or that we can collaborate for information and healthy fun, any other?
  20. There's a new kid on the block... just launched to follow Samsung's 980 Pro announcement and actually is the fastest drive of its class to come and be available very soon (price TBA): http://reviewcentralme.com/2020/09/01/sabrent-unleashes-rocket-4-plus-the-worlds-fastest-pcie-4-0-nvme-ssd/ I guess heatsink is somehow removable so can be adapted to the Zitay adapter, even though overheating handling is everything a Canon user can ask for these days...
