Mandorla... I remember that: https://www.eoshd.com/creative-filmmaking/shooting-a-feature-with-the-panasonic-gh2-and-lomo-anamorphic-lenses/ Andrew doesn't need to make anything else to be the inspiration his pioneer work as influencer before many others has been for so many other people as much as Jonas Mekas I had the pleasure to personally meet was for previous generations and still is. I even think Andrew must be careful because he has a legacy to defend and this must be preserved. EAG :- )

Found this, 11 hours to go on IGG before to become available (or not) through indemand route, I suppose, in any case I wonder how many from you have any thoughts about? More EOSHD valuable info on topic here and there.

£2500 (+ specs, etc.) on CVP

There's no other location like this one today, no kudos are enough to express it, I feel it invariably underestimated... I don't even think anyone including Andrew can comprehend the whole extent of the impact of his work and legacy as one of the first original influencers of this segment of the camera scene : ) This is a truly indie home where there's always place for filmmakers to come first. Where else nowadays? Industry ties don't hang out really well with free spirits. Priceless affordable tools for creators don't rule when business aspects prevail. Andrew has created something completely unique to get rid us of all the customary useless paid crap. Frankly, I don't see us living without the standards EOSHD has become us used to. It would be a sad world in/for this craft without it. Pretty sincerely, EAG :- )

Ditto. No idea why they miss 4K 120fps anyway... Had to buy the €700 OnePlus 9 Pro instead. without mention my 2020 ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro without locking the exposure at that frame rate though : ( https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_13_pro-11102.php -
It's coming from here: Any thoughts? Poll has no none option, so whether you choose one or another, or yet none, you're welcome to tell your readers why or anything else you want on topic :- )

PS (5 minutes is too short to add anything to a post anyway : ) At EF end there are good glass samples so I believe you won't need to worry too much about (focus on the leftover instead ; ) it's just to know how to choose the best tools to fit your cup -- here's a good resource (Bryan Carnathan is your host) where you can compare a variety of options you have: https://www.the-digital-picture.com/
-
That can not even be called a problem at all... : ) It will just charge more time from you @ post going along the Pocket series route taking from you the caution enough by framing if your glass won't meet your distortion standards :- )
-
Yes, there are tools for motion picture much more affordable today :- )
-
Great post as usual, man, yeah I'd call P4K old school where more effort you have to put to overcome the lack of modern tools, a bit as much as happens with AF as for instance you've surpassed with your incredible tool all Pocket series owners must have (EAG :- )

Modern digital photography usually provides the option of lens correction by software, not available going with a typical cinema camera such as Pocket series is :- ) https://www.canon-europe.com/pro/infobank/in-camera-lens-corrections/ https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/lens-corrections.htm - EAG

Good advices, mate : ) Incrediblly funny how old LX100 is, isn't it? ; ) Seven years in the digital camera industry is a whole eternity... and my 4x G7s, one year younger as for instance, are still unbeatable in price, weight and form factor vs the IQ they STILL and will always offer! EAG :- )
-
Thanks man, your news and focus are really appreciated over here, lad : ) Same size and dimensions then? From third parties offer I hope too! Seems they know what they're doing and very likely a couple of units coming from US subscription where there's no VAT, 20% better foreign exchange without mention a much lower price in fact ;- )

Just arrived finally to be an alternative to the RAVPower's Filehub? https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/lambogo-rugged-high-speed-wireless-ssd-storage/x/4309913#/ Well, 320MB/s against 12MB/s-18MB/s, roughly 20x faster seems too irresistible and a dream come true... a new age coming? Imagine to backup your 128GB SD footage in... 7 minutes ; ) I wonder how consistent the speed be going with 8TB, figure it full of data loading there... Interesting price range anyway. Affordable to say it in one word. Feel tempted to test it :- )
-
Looks like incredible, man, kudos to both of you (EAG :- )
-
It was a rhetorical question anyway : ) we are all limited to weight of the bird in one or another way... :- )
-
Well seen but as written up there, I think because RED is going towards a different target this time : ) that is, not exactly as not expected at least :- )
-
What about the regulations...?
-
Interesting input, no matter if criticism when worthy. As said, I believe Jarred and his team are following up all that, I hope : ) Those fab specs and the brand deserve any single and every improvements to be progressively implemented :- )
-
Fanboys fanfare is surely not the best one to put a brand develop : ) Unbiased customer reviews instead, yes, make the product better. I believe Jarred (hats off to his effort to make a whole decade and an half of continuous labor and results to keep going Jim's endeavour) and his team will follow up this thread as well fair concerns such as those you've just posted. Even though, I guess this product is also targeted to the one-man-show, nowadays crews are gradually made of :- )

"Down" : D up to 600fps... Impressive : ) Who would imagine it only a few years ago? Seems clear to me that we're living future straight from now today :- )
-
ah funny, do you live in Kiev? are you Ukrainian too? I lived there along 2021-2013 : ) Do you work in the Ukrainian film industry? I believe there's not easy to find stock of Soviet glass there anymore or am I wrong to assume that? ; ) These small devices are completely proper of a very different realm I found a decade ago, people do photo shoots with iPhones now, not exactly in Kiev but a bit everywhere else...
