RED is still a major, let's don't underestimate anyone anywhere, it's just not too smart to deny it to be honest : -)
-
Don't want to jump the gun, the dude is just still sleeping for now! LOL : -)

In the cine world, people will tend to use the 180º shutter angle, 24fps -> 1/48th (DSLRs usually offer approximately 1/50th to begin with), 60fps -> 1/120th, etc. Hence the motion cadence. The different terminology won't change the fact there's no difference between shutter speed and shutter angle. Just two distinct ways to say the same as happens along the Blackmagic cameras, on P4K at least. It is nothing about motion blur rather than motion cadence on his post. The other user didn't hint that at all WTH *phew* He didn't suggest you could vary the angle to some slow shutter speed / 360º shutter angle to get that, more prone to pop up in the realm of still photography but possible to reach on video as well, obviously.

LOL Hilarious presumptuous "debate", they obviously mean the same... ; )
-
Reality will never overcome some representation of it. That's why it is called art. 24fps posed a standard, dictated as its intrinsic motion cadence. Other than that is not adding anything but just diminishing all that. Who doesn't understand this has no clue what's going on. E : -)

LOL : -)
-
Motion cadence obviously matters... What for are we discussing here after all?
-
No one is bothered with your remarks on the way P6K looks, just the way you comment them ; ) Can't say the same on a few other comments though... How deny jitters and stuttering proper from 24fps for decades so far as some sorta shortcoming? Does it make any sense...?
-
Who else...? LMAO : ) Funny that one to follow another one of his pearls : D
-
I'm afraid it's not my broken English but the content there you don't understand ; ) I'm sorry I can't do anything else for you : ) The more you post the more you are distant of such credit I mentioned about Mattias. He can succeed to reach us only with just a little. Why? Is it actually necessary to point why? Really? Unfortunately, we can't say the same on your attempts no matter how much you post ; D
-
Please don't infer anything else other than what I really wrote up there to not distorting my wording... LOL I laugh now to not cry ; ) You previously said it. I just seconded if that's the way you say it, c'mon don't complain on him but on your butt, that's all : -)
-
You know what's the problem of that, Skip77? Take a second thought reading your posts again, you'll easily follow the reasoning behind any hostile criticism on your entries as pre-judgement or misconceptions as you call it. Credit must be earned, no other : -)
-
Mattias... a troll?!! LOL What a good laugh! : ) You'd be the only one to probably back that statement, I bet : D I wouldn't dare to write the same about you, though ; -)

Jinni Tech claims RED Compressed RAW patent filing is invalid
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Thanks mate, I haven't read it yet : -) Did it now... The way a L.A. Court would extend their jurisdiction is beyond me. To my knowledge, there's a lot of BS about the efficiency of their legal actions. More a case of legal bullying than anything else to my view. You Andrew might be entitled to fire back for that with more success than them to speak it frankly. Defamation is a crime. To state that someone practices libel, if not proved, ends in slander very likely. To follow a civil action with much more predicted outcome. The spell could turn against the sorcerer. My jurist two cents : -) -
Jinni Tech claims RED Compressed RAW patent filing is invalid
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Is this true or only rumor @Andrew Reid? -
Photography depends on variables. There are no soft nor sharp tools per se ; ) just soft or sharp combinations, respectively.
-
It's a way too early to infer that... : ) Without mention, AF is 50% lens related. The Canon 50mm f/1.2 is known to be worse than the regular/cheaper 50mm f/1.8 when used along video only to serve as example : -)

Blackmagic to announce new camera related news at 12 noon PDT (8pm London)
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Hey, champ, beyond a claim, just a fact, without mention, they are different models, didn't notice yet? Can I keep both or should I ask you a permit? LOL : -) -

What a lesson man with this one addressed to that smart dude... ; -) -
Blackmagic 6K is for EUR 2150 as of now... without VAT from UK suppliers
-
How they can beat the half price of Blackmagic product is beyond me...
-
Bodies are almost identical as Andrew wrote or not 100% identical as I've inferred from there.
-
I share same judgement so I guess we should not be wrong ; -)
-
More than that, this guy is a mere troll. He doesn't even refrain himself to be hostile if he feels necessary. He's entitled to his own judgement on everything and anything : D Have you seen how he's provocative to put that "SAID" in capital letters...? LOL : P Honor is priceless, no matter wherever... Even in the middle of a joke being the case. At least, to my book. Respect not less. Actually, it was not only pre-ordered from one but two places in cue from August 9 on along two different UK suppliers. I recommend everyone in Europe with VAT number to buy from there because of GBP price nowadays -- PROAV offers a better quotation.

Again? Never tired? LOL Should I pay you to free myself? LOL ; ) What spun? That post is exactly the one of mine related to the only video available on their P6K product page, already referred in my last one addressed to you up there. I find a bit odd they placed that video shot with the P4K into the P6K version page. Does it make sense to you? Not to me. No big deal in any case whatsoever, just a little chaotic to my view, once they actually have another page with the right footage. Only not there. Not a shock people are not aware of it. Even more hidden would only be a surprise then, really. Dude, don't you want your vote of confidence, after all? : D Yes, I've pre-ordered the new camera once I am rather satisfied with the previous investments made on the brand. I see this capture device as an improvement and technological update.
