Is the RX10 better than the GH3?

And will the new SLR magic anamorphic adapter fit on the RX10?

Hi Andrew. Great post! I am looking for a camera for my video drone. Was looking at the GH3 but the RX10 looks great to. The biggest advantage is that the GH3 can hold a range of lenses of course. But how about video quality? How does the RX10 stand against the GH3? Whats your opinion? Thanks! Wilco

Hi   I just have bought a Canon 5DMKIII and am experimenting with the RAW hack. As a Anamorphic lover i would like to pair my 1968 Iscorama x1.5 (m42 mount with the original 50mm f2.8) with the MKIII. Coming from a GH2 crop sensor world and new to the FF world i would like to ask for some advise. On the GH2 i used the Helios 44-2 and a old FD50mm as the taking lens. Not so keen on the Helios....   Which (old) manual lens would be a great combination on the MKIII? (As a taking lens) Love the flares of my Iscorama so i am looking for a non/single coated solution. Any experiences?   Never used the MKIII with the Magic Lantern anamorphic combi yet. Is the hack de-squizing live, even in the RAW mode?    Hope that you guys are willing to share some thoughts.   Thank you in advanced.

I am selling a mint AG-LA7200, 1.33 anamorphic. Can send photo's on request. Almost never been used. Just bought it myself but also was lucky to run into a nice iscorama 54 last week. (no, not from this forum) I am not looking for making any money on the lens Euro 1050,- (i even can show you the invoice) is what i payed (call me stupid  :P ) for it so if you think its worth it i can re-sell for that same price. Think this Panny will get dusty sitting on my desk and that would be a real shame    :mellow:

Hi Andrew   Thank you for your mail. Great to hear that it will work with the GH3. (with slight vign.) I am looking foreword to read your review on the GH3. I hope to get my hands on a BMCC MFT very soon and try it out. Like you said, with this 2.3x crop it might work. That would be great! As soon as i get my hands on a BMCC and have tested it i will post it on this forum. I have a friend of mine going to Las Vegas (NAB) and maybe he can get some information from the BMCC guys first hand. (or even get a BMCC MFT...who knows...) That is IF Black magic have time to chat with him ha ha ha :ph34r:  I think a lot of people will chase the BM guys :angry: They have some explanation to do  ;)

Hi all! Looking for a good camera combination for my Iscorama anamorphic lens. 1968, m42 pentax mount. Tryed the Voighlander (25mm, f0.95) on the GH2 but 25mm is just to wide on de GH2 sensor. This we allready know ofcourse ;-( Anybody tryed the GH3 with this combination?The BMCC (m43) is even more cropfactor so i think it should work... Also am looking at the Olympus E-M5 because of the great stab.function. (But i do not like the 30fps codec) Does this work well with handheld anamorphic filming? Any experiences? Thank you in advanced!

Hi all! I am looking at the BMCC M43, IF it ever comes available ;-) Is there anybody with a M43 BMCC yet? My question is : does anybody know if the Voightlander 25mm (f0.95) will work without Vign. in combination with original 1968 M42 mount Iscorama anamorphic 1.5x? I am hoping to pair the Voightlander with the iscorama on the BMCC using a Redstan clamp. (Great product Tony!) Tryed the Voighlander on the GH2 but 25mm is just to wide on de GH2 sensor. (Anybody tryed the GH3 with this combination?) The BMCC is even more cropfactor so i think it should work... Any experiences?

Hi I just started with experimenting on anamorphic shots. :ph34r: I have the book from Andrew which is real good info but i am hoping that somebody can help me through a few steps here. I am using the GH2 and Vanilla patch. Shooting on MJpeg mode for the anamorphic use. (Use VGA, HD, ?) Do i use the 4:3? I shoot 2x anamorphic. I am not able to see the result on the GH2 screen do i? Have a SmallHD coming in tomorrow so i hope to solve this problem. Than i start up CS5.5 or 6 and and hoping that somebody can explain me step by step what the best workflow is or share some experience.... Would be grateful! :D Thank you in advanced.
