sev7en Posted August 16, 2020 Share Posted August 16, 2020 EISA AWARD 2020 The Expert Imaging and Sound Association is a collaboration between, currently, 61 of the most respected international specialist CE magazines. These periodicals and websites deliver regular and independent technical reviews on new products, and embrace the full sphere of consumer electronics. Member magazines now extend beyond Europe to over 30 countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and India, and contribute their experience to one or more of EISA’s six Expert Groups: Photography, Mobile Devices, Hi-Fi, Home Theatre Audio, Home Theatre Display & Video and In-Car Electronics. Good morning I haven't seen that covered yet (in that case, kindly close it) but as any year, for the EISA we have winners and... losers with all the details and the clarification of the selection: https://eisa.eu/awards/photography/ On my view it seems a good balance with almost all the brands (Olympus excluded) and good to see Panasonic with the S1H. I've never actually used any of the products on that list (aside from 10 minutes with an S1-H trying to get its bluetooth working) so I'm not in a position to judge. Propably with a hefty participation fee. The cynic in me has started to believe that most awards are scams/heavily biased. How can the camera of the year not win best APS-C when it happenes to be an APS-C camera?
